Flashback Friday

So right off the bat, so everyone knows, this is Peter. Yes, I can post too. Anyway, I got this idea from my sister Rachel's blog and thought it would be fun to post pictures of Amanda when she was little while she is away in New York and can't stop me.

This picture is of Amanda when she was like 1 and 1/2 and she still didn't have much hair. We actually have this dress and have been meaning to take a picture of Bailey in it and maybe frame both pictures together.

What a cutie!

Bellie button!

Bang bangs!

Silly IUD's

So I thought that I would post this because I vowed to make this blog somewhat of a journal so that includes the ups and DOWNS of life! MUST BE READ TO THE END!

So usually These: (IUD-Intra-Uterine Device)
Are NOT supposed to Equal These:
Last week Weird things were happenin' with my body. I know my body and it is like clockwork when it comes to periods! So when I didn't start I really had to think about how this was possible! AS SOON AS Bailey was born I had an IUD inserted and I LOVED it! So I just assumed there was no way that I could be preggers! So I waited and I waited and I started spotting but never really started and then decided that there is no earthly way that I was pregnant so I took a test and:
Yes,.. i know I was just as shocked that it said I was pregnant! Peter and I just laughed and thought well,.. the Lord is the one that is going to decide when I will have kids and it doesn't matter what measures we take to prevent it! (Bailey was our attempt at the Pill which equaled her! And I couldn't be happier about it!) I actually didn't believe it so I went to the hospital and had 2 blood tests done too and they were positive! So I called my Doctor and he didn't seem to worried about the IUD being in there and told me to come in Monday morning and they would remove it. (this was Saturday) So we started making plans, calling people, getting excited and then Sunday I started bleeding more. More than I thought was okay during a pregnancy even with an IUD. So EARLY Monday morning I called an got right in to see the best OBGYN ever (thank you Dr. Gordon!) They did an ultrasound to see where the IUD was and it had defiantly been misplaced. It had fallen down into my cervix (it is supposed to sit in my Uterus) and then looking around there was no baby in there!? I know, I was just thinking that it was magic or something, well taking a further look they realised that the baby had implanted in my Fallopian tube making it a Ectopic Pregnancy or Tubal Pregnancy.

The series of blood work that they drew concluded that it was all talking care of it's self and I didn't need surgery or a really potent shot! So although losing the baby was not what we wanted, and is heart breaking because we love kids and don't care when or how we get them we, like everything in our lives, just wanted to pick and choose what WE want,.. not necessarily what the Lord has in plan for us. It caught us both SOOOO off guard, we didn't really have time for it to really sink in and get SUPER excited about it, so we are dealing with it all rather well I think.

I don't mean to look for sympathy by any means or an "I'm so sorry Amanda" I just want to share my life and all of it's ups and downs. Hopefully we will have some much related UP news in the months to come. Peter will be done with school in December and that is FOR SURE an UP! Thanks for all of your love and support!

Antidisestablishmentarianism

SO, the title pretty much explains this post! (I don't even know what this word means, I just know it's the longest word or something!) So here I am blogging about Father's Day Finally!

I hate to break it to the world but here is the truth, I happened to marry the most amazing man on the planet and he is a father of my beautiful baby girl. So I know that most of you are thinking, "ACTUALLY I married the most amazing man". But no really,.. I did!!! Peter is such an amazingly hard worker and gentle loving manly man! Peter works full time, is getting his Masters in Accounting at BYU and I know it is kicking his butt to do it all but he does it, and still has time for his family! We rarely miss an extended family outing and he is always here for dinner! Do you remember the movie Multiplicity? I am starting to think that my husband has cloned him self, THANK GOODNESS they didn't clone a clone, you should never do this or they might do weird things like shave their tongue, and "such as".
I never imagined that marriage could be this amazing! Peter has been so good to me, and so patient with my weird quirks. (and if you know me at all, you know there are MANY!) Not only is he a wonderful husband but he is such an amazing Dad! I have never known a man who could just sit for hours with a baby and play with them. This happens to be a Robbins men phenomenon. The girls will sit around and talk and the guys will take the kids in the back and play games with them, and toss them around for hours!! Really, it is like nothing I have ever seen! Football, Basketball, cards,.. you name the male gathering traditions and these boys would MUCH rather play with the kids!! Man I could just go on and on and on about how amazing he is and I am just SOOO in love with Peter and the saying is true, I love him more and more everyday!! WE love you Peter!!

SO here are our pictures of Daddy's day! It included Breakfast,..

In bed!

Lots of Presents but probably his favorite,..

Haha,.. I love this picture! I love it when Pete tries to make Bailey smile for pictures! I was obviously working! So Yes Peter was spoiled! Our other T.V. was really on it's last days of life. We had been shopping around for a while for what we wanted to get and we decided a few weeks ago on this T.V. We were going to wait a little while longer but when Father's Day came up I couldn't resist,.. so Peter got his breakfast in bed which included biscuit's and gravy, fruit and sausage. We got ready for church and while we were in church Peter's Bestie Jimmy came and put this on our counter! Shout out to Jimmy,... Thanks for your help!! Peter was really excited! (Bailey and I were too! No more green lines and blinking Baby Einstein!) Happy Father's Day!!

So today, Bailey and I wondered up to Centerville to hang out with Rachel. Ella had a little class in the Park and so we found a nice ICE cold creek to play in! I was actually really fun! We realised that this was a perfect place to do a mini photo shoot and we got some good shots! I really want to take Bailey back there and get some more without a big fat scratch on her cheek! (Dumb lotion bottle!)

This is my addiction ( I quit Dr Pepper!) Her name is Bailey and I am an addict! I can't believe she is almost one! It is kinda bitter sweet! (that's another post!) Thanks for listening!

Intoducing ItzyBitzyBling!! (Take II)

Hey everyone! I am really excited to announce that ItzyBitzyBling is off and running!! I finally started my Etsy Shop! There are a few things on there right now if you want to go a take a gander! I will be posting more things as the days go on! Right now I am just trying to decide what is Selling worthy,.. I guess it would be buying worthy! Share this with your friends and family! I tried to make the prices reasonable (better than the boutiques) I believe every baby needs to be accessorised! Anyway, I REALLY want feed back, so PLEASE tell me what you think, even if it is negative feed back, I really want to hear what you think and if you have ideas! Thanks for your support everyone! I am so glad that I have such great friends to share this with! Love you all!
