A Dream is a Wish,..

Well in this case, it better not be a wish.

WARNING Wordy post,.. I refuse to post pictures on the subject. They make me sick!

I could make post after post about Peter. He is amazing! I love his stinkin(and sometimes they are PRETTY stinky!) guts!!
We have many-a stories of funny night time sleep talking. We have a little journal to write down funny stories in and although we usually forget, and when we remember, it's usually something I have done like, THIS, or how I JUST found out that P.S., mean Post Script, not PLUS SOME!?!? What,..!?
Anyway, since this blog is more like a journal than anything else I have I feel the need to share. (With hubbies permission of course.)
Well we were lying in bed, and before I knew it, we were ASLEEP! A few hours into our beauty rest, I hear Peter mumbling, which isn't all that unusual, and the all of the sudden, The sheets are ripped back and Peter JUMPS out of bed and runs over by the door to our room(foot of the bed). I sit up(super irritated! How DARE you wake a pregnant woman!) and Peter is standing there in all his heroism, pointing at the ceiling pointing at "The White Spider" Above my head of course. Peter was yelling, "The white spider, The white spider, it's on the ceiling." Agggh,.. I was pretty irritated. I said, "Babe, there is no such thing as white spiders, go back to bed." Then he was speaking so coherently, he said "Yes there is!" very adamantly, and just as irritated back. It took me forever to talk him into believing there was no "White Spider" on the ceiling.
So you may, or may not have noticed a Spider theme to most of my posts recently. Bailey is obsessed with Spiders as of late. She talks about them all the time, and they make the same sound as a Lion, Tiger, Bear and Shark, (they all say the same things). Then she scrunches her nose, and I just want to pick her up and squeeze her because her facial expressions are AMAZING these days. I don't think it has ANY thing to do with the CRAZY faces I have made for her since day one. Well Bailey has a new spider story too.

Usually Bailey is up before Peter leaves for work, and he loves to go and get her in the morning and bring her down stairs to wake me up too. Well the other morning Bailey woke up later than usual and so Peter was gone. I was startled to wake up to Bailey's SCREAMING and so I RAN upstairs and flung open her bedroom door to find my poor daughter literally in a ball, at the head of her bed whispering, "spideww, scare me, Ahhh" and she was pointing at 12her ceiling, so I look up there, and sure enough, there was a little spider on her ceiling, for real.

I just hate spiders. Creepy crawly things make me sick. Ewe!

The End.

Handsome

Yesterday at church, Peter stopped to get a drink from the drinking fountain and while sipping from the fountain of youth, a little old lady came up to him and said, "Well, there's the most handsome member of our ward!" Peter's thought was, no one really knows us that well in the ward yet, and kept drinking. Then he felt a warm hand on his shoulder and so he stopped drinking to talk to her and she said, "You know, you look just like Yul Brenner."

REALLY?

I have always thought Yul Brenner looked like he had chronic constipation.

I love little old ladies. They make me laugh.

p.s. I just need to brag for a moment,.. I typed this up and clicked "ABC check" and there were no misspellings. This is a proud moment for me!! A miracle of sorts!

p.p.s. Bailey came in and saw the picture of good ole Yul and got all excited and started waving her hand and saying, "Hi Daddy!" Can we argue with that? Well yes, yes I can!

One Year Older, and Sunshine Too

We kicked off the Birthday celebrations with having dinner with my brother Dave, his wife Amanda and their son, Spencer. Bailey and Spencer are great little buddies and have a lot of fun together. My brother Dave is the ultimate Spazz, and I say that from one spazz to another. (that's why we like each other so much!!!) Dave told Bailey and Spencer to imitate his AWESOME dancing(yes in the middle of the restaurant) and this is what we captured.

Funny Kids!! Bailey and Spence have some MAD moves!! Isn't my Sis-in-law beautiful!!

Yes,. that second chin of mine is one whole chocolate cake eaten entirely by Muwah!

We had a chance to get out of town and enjoy the sun in Southern Utah, while the snow melted off our driveway. I wasn't about to pass up that opportunity! Plus it was my birthday, and I figured this will probably be our last chance to just kinda go, on a whim, before I pop this little bundle of joy out! I keep thinking,.. "Isn't she ready yet?,.. I am!" Actually I'm totally not, but the nesting is starting to kick in, or maybe it's Spring and I need to clean for once or something!? Anyway,.. BACK TO OUR TRIP,....

We left Friday afternoon, and since I COULDN'T WAIT to get to some sunshine, we didn't stop once and Bailey slept almost the entire way! I was glad I didn't have to listen to any of the 6 Disney movies we rotate through, even though it's really cute to hear Bailey imitate her favorite parts. We got there and had some delish dinner, enjoyed walking around the Outlets. I managed to get out of the outlets there only spending $1.58. I know, it's a MIRACLE!!
Saturday, we got up, and before I knew it, we were out the door and headed for a Dinosaur adventure. Well,.. not really an adventure, but we saw some pretty cool foot print fossils and I REALLY liked it! Bailey REALLY liked her $2 dinosaur figure-ish thing-a-ma-bob. Thanks Grandma! Another thing that must go to bed with Bailey, we are up to big Nemo, 2 finger puppet Nemo's, "baby-coot", MickMouse, Banket, Spideew, and now Dino. How did I get here again!? Then it was off to a Church site (Jacob Hamlin's Home) really neat church history that I had never heard! I recommend it!

Note,... The dino in Bailey's hand. She LOVES it! Im sure you didn't miss her cute face.

Birthday Lunch! Thanks Jan and Lynn!!

Water Fountains. OH WOW, I hadn't laughed that hard in a LONG time. Bailey was pretty sheepish at first, but as soon as she accidentally got wet, it was a BLAST! I was grateful for the opportunity to soak up the sun too!

Then Peter and I were off to a VERY uneventful evening of driving around St. George looking for the dollar theater, with no luck! Oh well, it was fun to just be together. Thanks Dave and Rachel!!

Sunday we relaxed, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!

Monday-Brigham Young's Home tour, and then Back to town square. We couldn't get enough of the water fountain. I will have to figure out how to post video. We are going to have to go to the Gateway for some more of this water stuff!!

P.S. If you are a single male, with creepy, long, dirty hair, PLEASE don't go walking around a park full of little children smiling creep-ily at the mom's and watching our kids. You invoke angry feelings, like I witnessed some pedophile walking through the park. humm,...?

Also, if you smoke, don't stop at a park full of kids to do so. I don't mind if you smoke, but I mind if that smoke gets in my daughters lungs. If you want to have a slow, painful, oxygen-lacking death, that's fine too, but I enjoy being able to breath freely! Thanks!

This is my nephew,.. I can't believe he is a little missionary!!! I had to tease him a little before he went in, so I told him to go hug this tree, and I snapped the picture cause this is the most action he is going to get for 2 years!! I know,.. I am awesome!

Hakuna Matata!

The Easter Bunny brought Bailey some fun toy "buggies" in her Easter Basket, including one of these:

Bailey hasn't really been exposed to Spiders, it's been winter for so dang long that we haven't had an infestation in our house yet, I am expecting it shortly. That is if Mother Nature comes to her senses here one of these days and realizes IT'S SPRING!!!!!!!!! Anyway, I don't know where Bailey's fear of spiders comes from but it's pretty funny! Her "spide" sat untouched on the fireplace for the first few days even though I would try to trick her into bringing it to me. She would run over to grab it for me and when she got close enough to grab it, she would turn and look at me and say,.. "Spide, Scare me, AHHH!!" When she says Ahh, it's very monotone and she sounds more bored than her facial expressions are stating. Her eyes get really big, and she scrunches her nose. It's pretty darn cute if you ask the Mamma, or Dadda, seeing as how Bailey thinks my name is Dadda. Can you tell I am getting tired of being called Dadda!?

Well today I FINALLY found my DVD of The Lion King that I have had since High School. I needed to run some errands and so I popped it in the DVD player and off we went. Walt, I owe ya one big guy! Bailey loves to make commentary on whatever movie she is watching and from the back seat I hear,.. "Buggies,.. SICK!" a little more enthusiastic than normal. After listening for a minute to find out what part of the movie it was, I came to realize it was when Timon & Pumba are munchin on some Grub!

It is, Such a wonderful phrase!! And yes, eating buggies IS Sick Bailey!!! You smart girl!!

Easters

I LOVE Easter. There are MANY reasons why I love Easter. I was so happy to know that Easter was later this year than last because I thought that the weather would be AWESOME. Well,.. Mother Nature must have a great sense of humor, but girlfriend, this is not funny anymore. I feel bi-polar with the INSANE changes in weather. Oh well,.. Hopefully Spring will really be here soon, and Bailey and I can get outside and start on our yard that REALLY needs some help. I mean REALLY!! I will post pictures of that on a different post.
Every year Peter's AMAZING Grandma on the Robbins side has an Easter Egg hunt the day before Easter. She really is Amazing. The whole Robbins Family is amazing. I have never witnessed anything quite like it, and I mean that in the BEST way, REALLY! The Easter Egg hunt is something anticipated for by all, for weeks in advance. I think it has been hosted at SpringHaven since it was built. But we all gather there, eat a feast of Robbins proportions, featuring a bazillion AMAZING salads. It's no surprise that I stuff my self into oblivion. (I do that at MOST meals these days!) A Lesson is shared, whilst Eggs are hidden. The kids are split into groups by age to make the race fair.
"lella" Ella is hilarious!! So is Sammie. I love this picture!
We were excited to see how Bailey reacted to getting the eggs and putting them in her basket. It ended up that she found one egg, shook it, and had a hard time putting it down to find more. She did like to get the "pik" (pink) ones. Those were her favorite. We opened one for her to eat, it was full of jelly beans, and I don't know why, but she INSISTS on STUFFING her face with as many beans as she could fit into her mouth. This included drool of a changing color, and a few choking sessions.
Daddy,.. I'm ready to go!!!!(we forgot her basket. I don't have a brain!)
Humm,... Marshmallow,... Another Egg,.. what to do!???

We usually hide them out side, but it wasn't hard to find some pretty cool places to hide eggs for the older kids too!! See the green egg up there!? There was another one higher,.. I don't know how they got them up there, but the kids LOVED it!
Thanks for the help Grandma!

Saturday night, we decided to get together with the Bateman family for our Easter feast. It was delish! Maybe it was having my mom here to help, but Ham is pretty easy to fix!! I was worried that I was signing up for something more like Thanksgiving, (which I am sure will be hosted at our house this year!) but I was glad it wasn't THAT much work. I also successfully pawned off most of the left overs which is good for my waist line, or bra size, that seems to be where the weight is going anyway, I KNOW,.. that was the last thing I needed! Dr. Bindrup,.. here I come!!!

This is Spencer being sneaky and when Bailey had a few eggs in her basket, Spence came and grabbed them, and put them in his basket. Bailey didn't even notice!!!

I didn't have a chance to get cute pictures of Bailey in her Easter Dress today, but I will take her out tomorrow and get some before Mother Nature pulls another fast one on me!

Just a short funny Bailey moment that went in the journal today. The other day I had Bailey sitting on the counter and I was sitting on a stool in front of her and she was playing with my hair and being so sweet, and then all of the sudden she takes the little hand full of hair she had in her hand and tried to put it up my nose. I about DIED laughing, and then reprimanded Peter for teaching her such a thing, when Peter informed me that he taught her nothing of the sort. What a silly baby. She is also currently rubbing her face on,...... I can't say it,...... peter's feet...... BARF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Feet are so GROSS!! YUCK!!!

How did she get this big!? I showed her this picture and she said, "baby,.. coote!"

Where did March go?

Where did March go? I don't even know. I don't know where the 20th and 21st months of Bailey's life went, I don't know how I got to be 27 weeks pregnant (Yes that means there is still ETERNITY left!) I don't know why I didn't take a single picture in the month of February. WHAT A WHIRLWIND the last few months have been!
-So I blogged a little about Mel's Wedding which was awesome.

This is how Bailey enjoyed Mel's Wedding!!!

-I haven't blogged about NY and Boston yet. I have it written, I just can't find the camera cord to the other camera.

This is Bailey helping me pack for my trip. What a big helper!!

-I blogged about Ugly Lady

This means that I haven't REALLY blogged about Bailey and her hilarity lately. I will do so now with a little surprise for Rachel at the end.

Bailey went to the moon. At the Clark Planetarium. We LOVE it there!

Little Miss BaileyBailey LOVES this swing at Grandma and Grandpa Robbin's house.

I CANNOT believe that my baby girl has gotten so dang big. I really feel like she just learned to walk yesterday, but No,.. it's been an entire year!

-We are currently OBSESSED with Finding "Mamo" and "MickMouse" along with "Gooey" and "Duck".
-The other day Bailey and I were out running errands(no, ugly lady is not going to make me stay home and be a hermit!) and Bailey was trying SOOO hard to stay awake. If I let her fall asleep for 2 seconds in the car, when I go to move her into her bed, Nap time is over and we are IN FOR IT! So I decided to start asking her what her animals said. I got through the normal, Dog, Cat, Snake, Shark, Pirate(we love this one!), Lion, sheep, and I decided to be funny and ask her things like, What does a Mommy say? I kinda coached her into saying "i love you" and "what does a Daddy say? "no no!" and then I decided to ask, "What does Mamo(Nemo) say and I looked back and she looked at me for a second and said, "Turtle, Whoa! Dude, Whoa!!! turtles are Dudes at our house thanks to Finding Nemo, and The little "dude" says , "Whoa!" a lot. It's pretty cute.
-Tantrums are getting better thanks to the book Love and Logic in parenting. Bailey DOES NOT like the idea of going to her room unless it's to go to sleep and then she Runs with excitement! Eating, although still a struggle, is getting better too. I have never known a baby to like onions, well Bailey LOVES RAW onions.
-Bailey caught me picking my nose today and said, "booga, SICK!" I laughed and laughed. Whatever, don't judge, you totally pick your nose too!
-We LOVE our baby, and Bailey kisses my tummy, and can say Chloe, (YES, I TALKED PETER INTO IT!! Well,.. he gave up! Tee Hee!) She really says it "Kowee." Really, Bailey doesn't get it, she thinks that my belly button's name is Kowee, and Baby, and she just kisses that big(and getting bigger) hole. My belly button never pops, it just gets to be a huge crater on my stomach.
-Bailey claps in church at the end of the prayers, and songs and YELLS,.. "YEA!!!!" and then screams for a "snackie". But Hey,.. she has been making it longer and longer in Sacrament meeting which makes me SOOOO happy!!

-Bailey's Facial expressions make Peter and I laugh and laugh and laugh. Tonight I told her to come get in her chair, it was time for dinner, and she got THE MOST disgusted look on her face like I was going to serve hot garbage or something.
Daddy decided to see if Bailey liked Lemon Juice. She doesn't if you were wondering.
-Every time she sees a baby, she INSTANTLY says, "oooh ooh, baby, Cute!" The oldest person she has labeled a baby was 17. Strange child!
-Although Suckers are the bane of my existence, (I HATE THE MESS!) Bailey LOVES them so she gets them when I really need to just keep her happy while doing something important. She doesn't call them suckers though, she calls them "stickies" and I LOVE it!!
-Last but not least, Bailey is a BIG HUGE tease! I am still "DaDa" but she knows now that I don't like it so she says DaDa and then runs away giggling. The only time she calls me "ma" is when she can't find me and she starts getting nervous. Oh Well,.. someday I dream that she will call me Mamma, but I have come to the realization, that might not happen until Chloe starts talking and calls me Mamma.

Just for Rach! I LOVE YOU!

This last weekend we spent with the Robbins' side, like we always do on Conference weekend. It's always really fun. I have decided that we have a tradition of starting a new tradition every conference, and I love it. Well this is Rachel's special part of my post. Whenever I see a camera laying around, I steal it and leave the owner an array of very "special" pictures. So Rachel stole my camera left me special pictures and I thought they were just SO special, I had to share! ENJOY,.. I sure have!!!

Jan, Don't hate me for this picture. I have a serious inability to pose normally for a picture, so this is as good of a prego picture you are going to get. PLUS I won't stop and take a picture to document my incredible ability to expand in every direction.

Harboring

I am still REALLY ticked about this post.

My heart rate RAPIDLY increases everytime I drive by Macey's, or think about her seriously tragic face.

I realize, I need to repent. Apparently I can't get over it though. For real,.. what was she thinking?

It makes me just oh so mad. And makes me think of this story (it's about 3/4 the way down and starts with "I would like to tell you of another who lived the golden rule") and why she couldn't have been more understanding. GAHHHHHHHHH! Stupid Ugly Lady! writing is theraputic though! Thanks for listening.

No holdin out on me!

I decided that I REALLY like maternity clothes. I never really bought any during my pregnancy with Bailey. My pants still fit(with a hair tie around the button of course) and I didn't really gain that much weight. WELL,... different kid, different pregnancy. I am kind of wishing that I had kept my gallbladder so I would be forced to be on a low fat diet. The chocolate cake I ate 75% of, along with the cinnamon bears, and some mad Kneaders cravings, aren't helping my weight gain any. I am like an eating machine people!! ANYWAY,.. I am thinking that investing in some maternity clothes would be a wise decision these days. I have been keeping a close eye on the usual places to find cute stuff, ie: Gap, Old Navy, Motherhood, the usual. So being the unfationable person that I am, I wondering if anyone knows of any places that aren't the usual places. So,.. Let me know if you've got something up your sleeve!!
