My little Black Eyed Pea

Bailey is a little ballerina/gymnast/spaz-n-a-half, in training/perfected.

The other night whilst being an acrobat in the living room, she smacked her face on the stone fireplace. We immediately ran over (it was one of those,.. this is gonna be bad sounds) and Peter grabbed her, and put her up to his shoulder and by the time I got a look at it, it already looked like this.
Poor baby girl.

When she woke up it looked like this,....

the only time she mentions it, is when I am trying to brush her whispy hair out of her face and I accidentally touched it,.. and this is what I heard about that
"Ouch Mommy, Don't touch it, Okay "mammie",.. Don't touch it ever again, okay? Never Ever Okay Mammie!"

Well, Okay little miss sassa frass!

"mammie" = Bailey's new term for her Mommy,..

(don't ask why, cause i don't have an answer.)

On another Note,.. Chloe is so stinkin cute I want to eat her.
(speaking of eating babies,.. someone was seriously offended when I told them I wanted to eat their baby,.......................
HELLO,.. I am not a cannibal,.. I just like fat babies and when I say "eat" I only mean nibble a few fingers and maybe a roll or two,....... Come on people,... really,.. offended???)
{sorry for the rant}

Snowboarding

I went snowboarding yesterday with Peter's awesome little sister Mary.

I haven't been snowboarding in like 5 years.

I haven't really exercised in like 5 years either.

WHAT WAS I THINKING?

I really did expect to get up there and be just fine??

I was there for 3 hours.

Made it down the Mountain,....

drum roll please,......

ONCE

(I will pause for laughter)

Why is it that the boots cut off circulation to my feet? Is that supposed to be how they fit? I decided while DESPERATELY trying to get them off there is nothing worse than having NO energy left in my muscles, and NO feeling in toes and the one thing preventing the blood flow to my feet are IMPOSSIBLE to get off with my lack of strength. I truly thought they were going to have to cut them off,.... I could hear the guys behind the counter chuckling at me and my desperation, or maybe it was because I brought all the gear back within 2 hours. Or maybe they saw my face plant half way down the mountain and stayed there in the middle of the run, for 15 minutes, just positive that I had ruptured a lung and broke my nose, Or maybe they saw me sit down every 30 feet because my legs COULDN'T take any more. Or better yet,.. maybe they heard how I so very gracefully face planted off the lift, and they had to full on stop the lift because I was retarded and buckled in the wrong foot.

Every other time I have been boarding, I have had someone with me to laugh hysterically at my super awkwardness, like the time Melanie and went boarding at the Bev and somehow, someway, while in a rolling, tumbling, ridiculous mess, I ended up with the tip of my board in my armpit and my face in the snow. After the plume of snow parted I saw Schmally Pants laughing hysterically. AWESOME.

All and all,.. I love boarding and wish I could go more often, more to entertain everyone else than anything.

Gramma Kay

This last weekend we had an amazing opportunity to go to Montana to see my Gramma Kay and surprise her with a big party for her 90th Birthday.

My Gramma is amazing. She is one of the most healthy strong 90 year old women there ever was. I'm sure we will be celebrating again in 10 years for an even bigger mile stone in her life.

Here are a few pictures of the night of her party.

Isn't she just radiating awesomeness!?

My sister Debbie came from New York, Gramma was sure surprised!

My super cute Gramma and her Boy Toy.
He is so good to her, and I am glad she has someone to spend time with.

We were also able to just spend time together, and it was wonderful. I really enjoy being with my Gramma. Her life was amazing, with many ups and downs. Her way of living and raising a child are so different that what I know, and I feel like there is so much to learn from her. She was raised during the Great Depression and with something all too similar here, I feel like her wisdom on how to survive through it, and things she still does because of that experience (ie, re using tinfoil) really make me take a step back and take a good look at my self.

Anyway,.. here are some pictures of just us being together.
