Yes, Yes, it is true. My "baby" is walking all over the place. She has no fears when it comes to walking. She just started letting go of the furniture. I know that she learned it from her cousin after spending lots of time with them. It is a little bitter sweet. At (not even) 10 months old I can't believe that my little baby is walking. Tonight after bathtime and before we put jammies on, i let her walk around naked and oh my goodness!! The chubby thighs mixed with the tight but celulite-esk bum is just irresistable. We have her 9 month well baby appointment on Thursday (I know I am a little late,.. better late than never right?). I will let you know what the stats are and I am sure that by then we will have some head boo-boos. She is rather top heavy,.. she gets that from her Daddy. But as long as she gets the big brains of his too, we will be stoked!
Speaking of Daddy's Big Brains,.. we are SOOOOOOOO excited that this semester is over!! It has been the longest 4 1/2 months of my life! Finding out that he had mono didn't help the situation though. Peter will be working full time all summer and taking one class! It is going to be a FUN summer. I was looking at our Calander for the summer and I can't believe all the fun things we are going to do. I think that every weekend in July we will be at Bear Lake(our favorite summer spot) and if we aren't there we will be playing at SpringHaven. Bailey and I will kick start the summer with a trip to New York to see my sister and her family in June, so with Bear Lake, and Springhaven and New York AND SevenPeaks passes we are going to be tan, warm, and surrounded with friends and family,.. and COULDN'T be happier about it all! YAHOOOOOOOO!!!

Ode to the Besties
They are like 2 peas in a pod. They are 2 months apart but you would never know it. Eve teaches Bailey everything she knows and Bailey is like a little spounge. With Jan and Lynn(Peter's Mom and Dad) in town the last 2 weeks we have been staying with Andy and Emily(brother and sister-in-law) Eve is basically walking and Bailey has caught right on, and much to my sadness, Bailey took about 3 steps today.
I am SOOO glad that Bailey and Eve are so close in age and they already have so much fun together. From the time that Bailey could giggle we would sit them facing each other and they would just smile and laugh. It was almost like they knew that they would be best friends forever and couldn't wait to really play together.
Speaking of best friends, I just want to take a second and add a shout out to Shmalgal Rock. Melanie and I have been besties for a REALLY long time and have been able to maintain a solid, close bond through a lot. We are both at really different points in our life and we still manage to talk a LEAST once a week and manage to see each other when we are really lucky. But today is her Birthday and I just want her to know how much I love her. I am so grateful to have such an awesome friend and I am so glad to know that we will have that friendship through out our lives. Love ya shmal! Have an AWESOME birthday!

Conference Weekend

At the Robbins house we are getting excited for Spring to REALLY spring,.. the weather has been a HUGE bummer the last few days. I have just sat looking out the window hoping the sun will shine through.
With conference being this last weekend, Grandma and Grandpa Robbins were home from Argentina. We are SOOOOOOOO excited to announce that Grandma and Grandpa will be coming home this July to live!! We can hardly wait!! It has been hard to have them gone for so long but grateful for their willingness to serve and being so amazing!!!
I just want to take a second and blog about my in-law family. I love them soooooo much!! I was always worried that my mother-in-law would hate me and that all of my husbands siblings would hate me too(it kinds goes with my fear of being forgotten) I don't think that any of them hate me. I have felt so loved and welcome from day numero uno and appreciate all of their support, and love. I couldn't have wished for a better family to marry into. Family get-togethers are always so fun. Laughter galore and the fmaily dynamic is just so fun. I love you all!! Thank you for everything.
More Robbins Family outtings pictures will be posted shortly

Come out, Come Out Who Ever you are,...
So I must admit, there are people who have blogs that I stalk. There, it's out! My name is Amanda and I am Blog Stalker!
So this past week in talking to a few people I have come to understand that there may be people who look at my blog and don't ever comment or make them selves know to me. You sillies. If you are taking the time to look at my LAME blog I want to know that I may stalk you in return.
To make you feel better, I am probably looking at your Blog too Yo! I have this major fear of people not knowing me or remembering me. I ALWAYS feel SOOO lame when I have to tell people why I know them and it just takes them a while to remember the face or whatever. I will just share one little story,..
Last conference Peter opted to watch Bailey so that I could go to a session of conference. Well I didn't want to go alone and so I asked my mom to come with me. I was talking to a good friend of mine who just so happened to be sitting next to me and in the isle I noticed this guy who looked strangely familiar. It took about .5 seconds of staring before my jaw dropped to the floor to realize that my eyes were now resting upon my 8th grade love. I lived with my sister in West Point, New York when I was in 8th grade and they "sponsored" the cadets. One in particular named Tommy. I was in love and age didn't matter. I knew he would one day find me and fall in love with me. (He was 26 and I was 13) So after the .5 seconds of staring my body just stood up and pushed through the isle yelling (louder that acceptable for the conference center) TOMMY, TOMMY, TOMMY O'LAUGHLIN and he looked back at me a few times and kept walking and then did it again and kept walking a little faster (it seemed) and then he stopped and said,.. "Do I know you?" Yeah I know, harsh! I looked at him and I was like, "It's me Mandy Bateman", and he looked at me and said, "how you do you know me?" (that was twisting the knife) and I said I am Debbie Gerber's little sister and he said, "Oh,.. I think I remember you!"
So anyway,.. this fear of being the forgotten one was there before this happened and is even worse now.
Moral of the story,.. I want to know if you are stalking me so we can be friends. And I am going to make an effort to be more fourth coming about my stalker tendencies. I have this weird thing where I remeber faces and names REALLY well,.. I never forget a face, but I can't put them together if it were to save my life. So I will know who you are!!
And to those of you I am aware of thanks for being great!! I love you all!!!

Happy Merry Easter!
At the Robbins house hold we are getting REALLY excited for this weekend. Peter's family holds an annual Easter Egg Hunt at their Cabin up Hobble Creek. It is all of Peter's Aunts and Uncles and cousins and those Robbins' sure know how to party!! It's always a blast. I am not only excited to hang out with everyone but to start traditions with our little family that will bring wide eyes with excitement every year. Although Bailey will be crawling for eggs this year it is a start of something so fun for me. I have been spending this week shopping for fun Easter Basket things for Bailey and Peter and I am really excited to give Peter his little gifts and to see Bailey play with her new toys from the Easter Bunny. Then Easter day we will be with the good ole' Bateman clan eating an Easter feast and playing games of some sort!
But I am also grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the real meaning of Easter and truly thank the Lord for his sacrifice and for all that the Atonement means. Getting married and starting a family has really made me realize my testimony of the Atonement and not only for Christ's sacrifice on the cross but for the gift of his life. There is no better an example and no greater a teacher than He. This time of year I catch my self playing this song over and over again and remember listening to it when I was really young and looking back knowing that that moment was where my testimony of the Atonement started. I just wanted to post the words so you can read them.
His Hands
his hands tools of creation
stronger than nations power without end and yet through them we find our truest friend
his hands sermons of kindness healing men's blindness halting years of pain children waiting to be held again
his hands would serve his whole life though showing man what hands might do giving, ever giving, endlessly each day was filled with selflessness and i'll not rest until i make up my hands what they could be 'til these hands become like those from galilee
his hands lifting a leper warming a beggar calling back the dead breaking bread, five thousand fed his hands hushing contention pointing to heaven ever free of sin then bidding man to follow him
his hands would serve his whole life though showing man what hands might do giving, ever giving, endlessly each day was filled with selflessness and i'll not rest until i make up my hands what they could be 'til these hands become like those from galilee
his hands clasped in agony as he he lay pleading, bleeding in the garden while just moments away other hands betray him out of greed, shameful greed and then his hands are trembling straining to carry the beam that they've been nailed to as he stumbles through the streets heading towards the hill on which he died he would die they take his hands, his mighty hands, those gentle hands and then they pierce them, they pierce them he lets them, because of love from birth to death was selflessness and clearly now i see him with his hands calling to me and though i'm not yet as i would be he has shown me how i could be i will make my hands like those from galilee
Gets me every time. Happy Easter everybody!! I am blessed to have each of you in my life and am definitely a better person for knowing you. May the Lord bless each of you and your families.
Much Love!

Happy St. Patrick's Day
They both recieved MANY kisses today. I can't have one of these shirts because I am not Irish but they are cute!!
Also,.. I've been tagged!
1. What were you doing 10 years ago?? Ten years ago, 1998, I was 11 still (yes I am still 21) I was in what 6th grade, so that means that I was running around Billings, Montana with my best friends Kim, Shari, and Jenna making trouble which usually consisted of DoorBell Ditching, or we would usually shorten it and call it DBDing to be sneaky and there was the few times that we lit poo on fire on people's door steps I know,.. horriable! My memories of 6th grade are the best,.. I still feel like it was my favorite year of school!
2. 5 Things on my To-Do List Today... Mail a package to my brother, clean the kitchen, do a little laundry, be sure to wear green, and make sure my family survives the day!
3. What snacks I enjoy... My new favorite is Diet Wild cherry Pepsi, and girl scout cookies, Maybe the diet is suffering these days!?
4. What would I do if I were to suddenly be a Billionaire? Buy a modest house, pay off the credit cards, get another Hybrid (SUV) and do LOTS of humanitarian stuff,..
5. 3 Bad Habits... Drinking Soda, Picking my split ends (Peter says that I remind him of a monkey when I pick them,.. RUDE!!) and being kinda lazy!!
6. 5 Places I've lived.. Spokane, Washington; Billings, Montana; West Point, NY; Logan, Utah, and Provo, Utah

Bailey,...........Priceless
So Peter's sister is AMAZING!! Shout out to you Rach!! But she lovingly takes freaky awesome pictures of Bailey when I ask, and she is just amazing! Anyway,.. here are some cute ones of her that I thought I would share.
Little Fairy Princess
See, my dress is REALLY pretty!
I think you have something I want to eat!!!
Not happy, but poppin her collar cus she's hot!
She did okay inside, but when wen went out side, she was NOT havin it!! Little stinker. That's okay, we will try again when it is really Easter.
Oh what the heck, here are a few other shots that I got of her recently. Sorry about the overload of pictures I just can't resist!!
So I babysit this stinking cute baby sometimes and Bailey is just facinated by her every move. Too bad I have to confine her or else Alina will be eatin!!
She couldn't find her hands under all that pink marshmellow-ie cuteness,.. but once we got goin she was HAPPY!!
Bailey has been getting her one top TOOTH (yes, I am looking forward to the snaggle, we will name it!) Anyway, the tylenol set in and she didn't evem make a peep, just layed her head down, and then I heard her snoring! Poor thing!
We went to visit Bailey's cousin Eve and my sister-in-law and I wanted to talk so Emily came up with this AMAZING idea to pull out the bean bag and turn on Barney. Totally new to Bailey, but as you can tell,..she LOVED it!! Ahhh.. priceless!!
