While the Men are away,.. the Women will Play!

{I will NOT refer to my self as any disease infested rodent such as a rat or mouse}

I meant to post this before my Zoo post. oops!
While the boys were off fishin' up a storm, their girls decided to go have some fun!

Utah has this AMAZING thing out right now called a Connect Pass. You spend $20 and get a ticket to a tooshie load of fun things. (2 and under is free!!)

So with OUR connect passes, this is what we did!

This is the Place

You would think that with such a bored look on their faces that they were ACTUALLY in school!?

She is so studious.

This was us on the train,.. I couldn't zoom out any further.

Brother Brigham was right,.. This IS the Place. He was the Man!

Hi Punka and Chloe!!

Some horrible Mother was there, and she was just letting her poor kid scream and cry on the floor. Bad Mom!

This poor neglected child must have had some serious sympathy for the Pioneer children.

Cute little Pioneer Children! Note the poor child with a sucker in her hands still crying and throwing a fit. Who's kid is this anyway!?!?

To continue the Pioneer spirit,.. we went and had a tasty lunch at the Lion House.(no pics)

Then we were off to

Discovery Gateway and Planetarium

and The Gateway in general

We got home and Sweet aunt Rachel gave Bailey an ice cream sandwich. It is very obvious that if an ice cream sandwich can't make this kid happy,.. nothing will.

Day 2

Thanksgiving Point Children's Garden
As you can tell, this SAME poor girl was at the Gardens, the next day!?

We obviously started the day out GREAT!

With a few "Lella" hugs and Loves and,....

We can be happy again!!

Dinosaur Museum

SHARK!!!!!!!
Heaven forbid looking at the camera!?

Bailey LOVED the wet sand!

Tram to the Top of Snowbird

Gotta have my "farsh"(giraffe)

Pete's Girls at the Top of Snowbird

*reminder,.. we did ALL of these fun things for $20!! TOTALLY worth it if you can take 2 FULL days of fun!!!*

Right after going to the top of Snowbird, we hopped in the car and headed to Logan just in time to catch a BBQ with some old friends! It was SOOO good to catch up and see these girls!

Bailey's New Home

That's a horrible title,.. but if Bailey could have,.. she would have moved in with the giraffe's,.. or the lion they don't have at the zoo!?
It's no secret that the weeks before Chloe was born that I tried EVERY trick in the book to induce labor(to no avail). One of them being to walk a butt load. Well Peter still had a bum leg, and I wanted to take Bailey to the Zoo. This meant I had to push them both around. So we got Pete a wheelchair and Bailey sat on Daddy's lap,.. and 9 month preggie mama got to push.
Well I had never been to Hogle Zoo,.. I assumed it was flat terrain.

{WRONG!!!!!!!!}
In the end,.. it was super fun, even if it didn't induce labor!!
P.S. It was MY idea to push those two crazy kids around! I wanted to!! Peter didn't really like the idea, but I made him! :D
Here are the pics!

We did find the Tiger,.. Bailey LOVED them!

I'm sorry if you know this woman but,.. this hair made me laugh,.. hard.
I'm pretty sure I had the same hair bow, in 1992!!

We found the Zebra's and Mommy happened to have this Zebra in her purse.

It's a Bear!

You can't tell ,.. but this is an Alligator. Bailey LOVES alligators!!

I was a bad mom and told Bailey there were Lions at the Zoo before I did my research to find out if there REALLY were Lion's at the Zoo.
But we DID find the closest thing to a Lion.
It was JUST as good as the real thing!
"Lefadent"
Look Mom,.. a REAL "Lefadent"
Punka came too. She was GREAT help when it came to pushing Pete and Bailey up the big hills!

Did you know a turtle is really called a Dude and Dudes say Whoa!?

I tried and tried to get this picture without the glare, but I just couldn't! Bailey and a monkey, kissing!

A quick train ride before we went home.
Favorite Picture of the Day!!!
We went in the tunnel and I KNEW Bailey was going to make a funny face.
I DIDN'T expect a funny face from Pete,
CLASSIC!

Big Kid Trips

I have A LOT to post about, and I'm not promising it's all going to happen this week,.. but be prepared for pretty much a post a day, that is if Chloe will stop eating for maybe an hour a day, AND OR, Bailey stops randomly puking because all she wants to eat is Milk and Apple Juice.

So here were Go!
This year we were SUPER lucky! Peter's parents planned, and executed two separate vacations, one for the girls and one for the boys,.. Adults Only vacations,.. Thanks Jan and Lynn!!
The girls went to New York City and Boston in March. I never blogged it, but I meant to. Here are a few pictures of that.

Probably the longest flight/night ever. Catching the Red Eye when you are 6 months pregnant,.. not a very good idea.
Our first day in the Big Apple on the double-decker bus
Me, Emily, Rachel, and Megan
We were trying to re-create the Wicked poster,.. did it work!?

We got to see West Side Story, it was GREAT, but a little disappointing at the same time. They changed it and made it more scandalous and risque. ANNOYING!!

My Sister Deb (who lives an hour outside NYC) met us for a day. It was SOO fun to spend time with her. I sure love her and miss her a lot! We are tizight! All the girls in Time Square after WICKED!!!!!
Wicked was VERY high on my "Bucket List" like 2nd to having more children. It exceeded ALL my expectations. It took me a few minutes to get over the fact that it wasn't Kristen Chennoweth on stage, but once I got over that, I was IN LOVE!! really,.. I was giggling that whole day.
{AMAZING!}
I Missed the good shot of the Statue of Liberty because I was too tired to stand up. I know,.. I'm Pathetic!

Boston, it was REALLY rainy but we found AMAZING pastries, totally worth it!

We took an afternoon and went up to Salem. It was SO fun! I think all the Wickens that were there thought our group of blonde witches were really odd.
I just realized that I don't have any pictures of the World Trade Center on this computer. It was one of the highlights of the trip for me. Second favorite thing we did, Wicked being Numero Uno! It was AMAZING to go there, and STRONGLY suggest it to anyone and everyone!

{ALASKA}

I don't know a whole lot about these pictures but I will try my hardest to get it right.

Some glacier in Juneau

{Notice,.. Peter is standing and walking without a crutch! What a happy thing!!}

Peter's first encounter with Crab,.. he said it wasn't too bad!

Frozen Wave,.. well that's what it looks like anyway. Notice the little bird on top of it

The boys and their loot. Peter was disappointed that he didn't catch anything very big this year but our freezer is full either way, and I am content with that!

On the little plane home. The boxes stacked in the back are what they brought the fish home in.

Note: Jason beard growing cheater;) (on the left) Not only did he secretly start growing his beard early, but he also colored it to make it seem thicker. tisk tisk Jason!

Good Bye Pybus Point,.. for a few years anyway!

Coming Up Next: What the girls did while(why ;)) the men were away!

Chloe's Blessing

We were able to bless Chloe this last Sunday. I was glad that the same dress we used for Bailey's blessing still fits her. :D
So here are a few pictures

The proud Parentals

Bailey was SUPER excited to take a picture!

"baby chloe" lights up her big sister's life. AS SOON as I hear Bailey in the morning, she is calling for non other than her baby sister,.. I hear

"Co-wee, where are you? I'm coming"

Then as I help her walk down the stairs all Bailey can talk about is Baby Co-wee.

It is really so sweet to know how much Bailey LOVES her little sister.

Ooh goodness, it almost brings tears to my eyes.

All the men in the circle. Left to Right: Uncle Will, Papa Chuck, Daddy and Chloe, Grandpa Robbins, Uncle Andy and Uncle Dave. We sure missed our other Uncle Dave and Uncle Dan. I don't have a picture of Chloe with Uncle Dan, but this is just for Dave(Clarke)

We sat down one night to watch a movie, and Rachel and I decided we needed some munchies, so we left the baby with Dave for a few minutes. This is what we came home to. It was so cute!

Grandma and Grandpa Robbins

Grandma Patti and Papa Chuck

Great Grandma Robbins

(Yes I know it looks like she is pooping her pants,.. this is her favorite face to make, and it never produces anything)

It was a wonderful day, with yummy food and great company. Days like this make me very grateful for the priesthood and grateful for the amazing man I married that is worthy to use it!! Peter did a great job and Chloe only screamed right after Peter blessed her to be of help to her mother,.. oh great!! ;)

Happy Birfday!

Today is my sister-in-law Amanda's Birthday and let me just tell you,.. Amanda and I not only share our first name, (we used to share first AND last names, boy was THAT confusing!) but we share a lot more. I call Amanda my twinner. It's probably because I want to be just like her, but I think we have a LOT in common. I have always really looked up to her and wanted to be just like her.
I remember the first time I met Amanda. I was in 7th grade and Dave(her husband and my brosuf) brought her home to "meet the family". It was my 13th(I think) birthday. Dave got me out of school for lunch and took his "Amandas" to Dos Machos. I remember thinking, I want hair like her!!! (which was like 9 feet long and dark and pretty). I remember creepily watching Dave and Amanda interact thinking,.. he better freaking marry her, cause I REALLY like her!

THANKS DAVE!!! You picked a winner,.. and my twinner!?
{I know,.. I'm HILARIOUS!}

Well Amanda, Happy Birthday! I sure love you and am glad you are part of my family!! You are AMAZING!! Have a GREAT day!!
