A Prayer

Although I do not struggle with infertility, and have never adopted, I know those that do struggle with infertility, and those who have, in turn, Adopted. All involved amaze me, and I am forever changed by their strength.
I follow this blog from a girl that I have always looked up to, and I doubt she would even know who I am.
She taught Relief Society and I would count down to the weeks I knew she was teaching because her lessons were AMAZING!!! Her blog is amazing and right now, "The R House" needs your prayers. They adopted a little boy a year ago, who's "sperm donor" is now wanting him back. They have had to go trial over it all, and are waiting right now for the Judge to rule, (IN THEIR FAVOR).
They have been in my thoughts and prayers for weeks now, and I thought they could use a little more help.

Pray for them,.. Pray for their judge.

Attached

I think my brain was attached to my placenta and was thrown out after Chloe got here. I hope that you enjoy my list of brainless things I have done in the last 2 months.

-Washed my face with conditioner

-Put Milk in the Cupboard

-Arrived to Chloe's doctor's appointment an entire DAY early

-Arrived to Bailey's Doctor appointment an entire MONTH early

-I was leaving the house to take Bailey to the Splash Park, had her swim suit in my hand, set it down to pick up my cell phone, and left. Got to the park, no swim suit. :D

-Got in my car, sat down, opened the garage door, looked down and realized, No shirt. That would have been HOT,.. waltzing around Costco in my Geez.

-I went out to lunch with my sister-in-laws last week, got to the restaurant and went to take Bailey out of her car seat only to realize, I had never put shoes on her.

I am sure that there are way more stories that I just simply can't remember. All this added to my everyday, always have been, always will be, retarded Amanda-isms. Like,.. I still pee my pants all the time,.. OF COURSE, Forgetting the last load of laundry in the washing machine, and then I have to wash them again cause they smell NASTY! Forgetting ESSENTIALS when we leave for the weekend. ie: contact solution and case, diapers or wipes for either, or BOTH girls (Bailey will never be potty trained because I will forget to ask her if she needs to go!)

Some day I will have my brain back, right!?

frustration.

DISCLAIMER: You may not agree with me on this.
I am kinda frustrated. I took the kiddos to the Doctor today.

Yes this little butterball is 97%,........in everything.

Heeee heee,.. she is so fat! I LOVE IT!

Well it came time to give Chloe her immunizations, instead, I am starting to give Bailey her immunizations that she didn't receive.
Here is my thought process on immunizations.
I think they are VERY important. I DON'T think that my newborn needs vaccinated for Hepatitis B the second she is brought into this world though. (Hep B is transmitted through Blood Transfusions, Sexually, and a few other ways) She isn't going to get Hep B, not to mention it's FULL of mercury. I DO think that she needs it eventually. My kids stay at home with me, if they were in daycare or preschool, I would want them immunized.
I also take issue with the fact that these shots are "one size fits all" for example, my little nephew who was a preemie, weight a whopping 4 lbs 11oz(I think I'm close) received the same amount of Hep B vaccine as my chunky 7lbs 5oz little boogers(i know, an endearing term).
I also am concerned about the link between Autism and Vaccinations. The CDC can't say yes, they do lead to Autism, but they also can't say No, they don't.
Back to the fact that I DO think that they are important. I think that some people see vaccinations for things like Polio, and Measles, aren't necessary because no one gets them,.. well no one gets them,......because of vaccinations. My children will be fully caught up by the time they are in kindergarten. But when it is Peter and I(who are vaccinated) and them, all day, everyday, I am choosing not to give my 2 month old with a brand new immune system, a bunch of mercury.
So the reason for frustration. I started catching Bailey up. The idea behind it,. instead of Chloe getting shots, Bailey gets them. So Bailey just got her 2 month shots :D.
Well we are in the Dr.'s office and all the nurses are trying to talk me into giving Bailey more than her 2 month shots, to which I said no.
They were being rude.
I was being nice, and just kindly declining.
The Dr comes in and says,
"If you are not going to immunize your children on time, we would ask that you not bring them here to be treated, please find a new physician."
-wow-
Reason being:
If I took Bailey to that office with Pertussis(whooping cough), which is highly contagious, I could infect his other patients.
ummm,... kids who ARE vaccinated can still get Pertussis. -thanks
I ran into this same problem when I took Bailey to her 2 month appointment, but her Dr(at the time) literally said,
"you are an idiot for not vaccinating."
I AM,.. just not now, JERK!
So I am now on the hunt for a Dr. who will be flexible with me.
I Never thought I would say this, but I miss BYU health clinic.

Dear Bailey's "A monos"

Dear Bailey's "A Monos" (Animals),

I do have a love-hate relationship with you and let me explain why.

I see the absolute JOY you bring to Bailey's life, but I also have to deal with her devastation when I forget to bring ALL of you, to each and every outing.

I have to wipe your poops off when Bailey is ABSOLUTELY sure that you have also pooped your diaper, hence the extreme amount of credit card debt created by purchasing wipes(not really,.. but kinda)

Bailey loves you all SO dearly, she lines you up so you can enjoy her movies like Tinkerbell, just as much as she enjoys them!
Once again with the wipes thing,.. Bailey loves to share her breakfast, lunch, and dinner with you, and when I wipe her down, post eating, I also have to wipe YOU down. And Bailey would only allow the best for her "a monos" so it must be a CLEAN wipe. AGAIN with the Wipes!?

You hurt my feet when I step on you.

Bailey would NEVER set you down on the ground, only comfy couch seats for her beloved animals, so you hurt my bum when I sit down on you. OUCH!

You say your noises FAR too much and TOO loud during sacrament meeting and Bailey likes to announce when you toot during said meeting.

I find you EVERYWHERE!

I have to hold you when Bailey needs to take a drink, and if I immediately set you down, she FREAKS!!!

If I can't find your partner,.. ie Cheeta goes with Lionie, Pig goes with Lizard(this is a new pair) Rhino("story") goes with Hippo, Zebra(seeba) goes with a sea creature usually. Dori and Nemo go together of course! Just to name a few

Dori I really love you, but I am tired of singing "Just keep Swimming, Just keep Swimming" just because Bailey is holding you.

But, all in all ,..."A Monos" I love you, because Bailey loves you! (I will have to remember this when Bailey starts bringing friends home and starts dating!) I will gladly buy extra "yipes" and sing "just keep swimming" 50 times a day, and step on you, and be embarrassed by your imaginary toots in church, and send out search parties for you when you are lost,.. just because you make Bailey happy!
Sincerely,

Your Human Mommy (If I have to change your "poops" and "feed" you everyday,.. I must be your mom!)
{Meet the Family}

I wanted to take pictures of some of MY favorite animals,.. favorite because I love what Bailey calls them. I will spell it phonetically for you.

I don't know why, but Rhino's are called "story" at our house.

"Lefadent" or "Iloveit" that's right,.. an "I LOVE IT!"

"Slob-smer"

"sli-slird"

Turnin' Back Time Tuesday

I have been trying to figure out who my girlies look like and I think I figured it out,.. well for Bailey anyway!

I kept telling people I didn't know where my girls got such big, chubby cheeks,........?

Me at 2 months

Me at 18 months(I don't necessarily see Bailey in this picture,.. but maybe!?)

Me,.. 2 1/2,.. holding my new little nephew. He is more like my little brother really. I miss him,.. he is on a mission these days.

Tee Hee,.. I tried to remake these pictures,.. it didn't really turn out like I wanted,.. but it's funny none the less!

Cute baby Peter. I think this is close to what Chloe is going to look like when she is 15 months old. I'm pretty sure she is going to have curly hair,.. it's pretty curly when it's wet, but straightens out when it's dry. I am keeping my fingers crossed!!

Spanx

Since having Chloe, I have come to realize that my children have sucked my body dry of it's youthful elasticity.

This tummy will never be the same.

(until I make that phone call to Dr. Bindrup)

The pregnancy weight didn't take long to lose,.. there were only 26 lbs of it. (I know it looked a lot steeper!)

I went to my 6 week check up and,............

Since the day BEFORE I delivered (it makes me feel better to count from then) I have lost,.....

drum roll please

48 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT? I kept thinking,.. where the HECK did it go,.. then I looked at my baby.
{Pretty much my new favorite picture!}
Yes,.. she just skipped from Newborn clothes to 3-6 month clothes. A little tear because she is getting so big,.. but NO tears about my weight!!!!
(I don't know if you can hear it,.. but there are heavenly choirs singing!)
But the weight loss isn't helping my "mama pouch".
{BTW,.. Santa can in NO WAY compare his tummy to a bowl full of jelly, he has never had a baby,.. unless Santa was really a female,.. which,.. now that I think about makes a lot of sense,.. Remembering who wants what, and where they live, and if they have been good or not, and that's not even mentioning making and organizing all those presents!!!}
ANYWAY,.. I am really good at getting off track!
I want Spanks,. or is it Spanx? I don't know!? But when looking on line at them, I was super ticked to find this,.....

Who does this chick think she is!?

Like she needs Spanx!?

Let me spell this out for you:

I feel like crap about my body,.. I search for a solution to the problem. I think of this heaven sent invention, and when I find it, it's a HUGE slap in the face.

I think I will go eat my emotions now.

-Spanx,.. but no Spanx!
