President Hinkley

I am sure that all of you have heard the news about President Hinkley but I just can't stop thinking about him and what a wonderful man he was. Peter and I had an opportunity of a lifetime to meet with President Hinkley, President Faust, and President Monson 2 days before our wedding. I was 9 when he was called to be the Prophet and I don't really remember much of either President Benson or Hunter. I have always just been taken back by his wisdom and his pure and honest love for the members of the church. I really am so happy for him. He missed his beautiful wife so much and he has worked and I believe truly LIVED (by every meaning of the word) every day of his 97 years. He will be missed and always remembered. It will be very different to have a new prophet but I am excited too. President Monson will be a wonderful Prophet and I look forward to the things that the Lord has in store for this president.

Bored.....

This is what happens when we get bored. Peter and I decided to try life with out T.V. for a week and so after I cleaned the house, showered, ate, and fed Bailey, we decided to have a photo shoot, and that didn't turn out so well and then I was going through some old pictures and thought that I would post them so you can all see.

This is the look Bailey gave me when I told her we were doing a photo shoot,.. yeah, even my baby thinks Im crazy!!

She came around though and smiled a little. You can kinda see her one tooth.

The other night when I went in her room to cover her up I found her with her bum bum in the air like this and Peter and I got a good laugh out of it.

Yes, those are self administered hickies!! I guess she lost her Binkie and found the next best thing!

The day Bailey was blessed. Such an awesome day! Bailey was just 2 weeks old, we were lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa Robbins in town for but had to do it before they went back to Argentina. Afterwards we went up to the cabin and that is where this picture was taken.

So Big!

I took Bailey into the Doctor this last week and she is getting so big. She has grown 3 inches and gained only a few ounces. Not a big deal that she didn't gain that much weight because she has been in the 95% for her weight since her 2 week check up. Now she is 95% for height and 35% for weight.

She started army crawling in the last few weeks too. She is so proud when she gets to what she wants.

Her two bottom teeth are in, FINALLY!! I might not be so excited when she actually bites me, but for now, we are excited for the crying and drool to slow down for a little while.

For all you moms out there, when I took Bailey in for her little cold he told me to use Ibuprophen instead of Tylenol. It will help with everything under the sun. Good little tid-bit.

Sick and Tired

It's been a really long day. Ever since we got home from our Christmas with Peter's parents in Argentina, we have not been feeling so swell. Hopefuly we can figure out whats going on soon. I just haven't even wanted to eat, ANYTHING. And if you know me at all, it's gotta be pretty bad to make me lose my appetite.

One of Bailey's bottom teeth FINALLY broke through so I think that she will start feeling better soon. She has been feeling kinda under the weather too the last few days, which has made all of us feeling yucky NOT FUN!! Because when the Mom, and Dad and Baby are sick,.. who is the one that takes care of everyone? Yeah,.. not the best week of my life. Thank goodness things are looking up. So I am Sick and Tired of being Sick and Tired, AND now I can't sleep!! Grrr. I have spent most of my down time today making baby headbands, some turned out and some didn't. OH well,.. Bailey will love them no matter what!! I just love her squeeziness. So here are some cute pictures we took in Argentina. Enjoy!

Sick Baby

So this morning, Bailey had been just as happy as usual. All smiles as soon as she woke up. Saturdays is our fun morning. We will just lay in bed and play with her and she will eat, and we will play some more. When we finally decided to get out of bed and make breakfast, I took Bailey out and laied her down to play with her toys and with in a few minutes I heard her coughing and I thought that she was choking on something, so I came running and there was a big pile of throw-up. YUCKY!!! It happened 3 more times, but just bile. Poor thing!! She is still smiling though and is as happy as can be!! She loved the grape Pediolite!! She hasn't thrown up in a few hours and has eaten so I am optomistic this isn't much of a cold thank goodness!!

The New Year

This past year has been VERY good to us. We have had SO many wonderful things happen in our little family. First of all, we increased it by one BEAUTIFUL addition in June. Bailey was born on the 30th, and we have eaten up EVERY minute she has been here. She has THE sweetest personality and is growing SO fast. Scooting already, and giggling all the time.

Peter spent the first half of the year at UVSC while we crossed our fingers that he would be accepted back to BYU, only this time to get his Masters in Accounting. After one of his professors told him to give up, he would never get into the Y, we applied anyway. HE GOT IN!! He is doing so well at the Y, and loving every minute of being a Daddy.

I had the blessing of quiting my job when Bailey was born and LOVE being at home with her. There is just nothing better than spending all day with such a sweet baby. I am starting a little company called ItzyBitzyBling and I make headbands and diaper bags and these cute little diaper wipe cases.

Blogging is new to me and this will be interesting, but fun. We are looking forward to the new year and all the excitment it will bring. Happy New Year!!!
