Ask How, Ask Now

So,............

I have had more energy lately, than I have had in about a year (pregnancy+recovery) and I am finally getting to actually doing something with my house.

(I did paint Chloe's room, and it turned out, well,.. down right hideous,.. this equals redo!)

My sister-in-law Rachel has IMPECCABLE taste, and so I am going to paint my walls the same color as hers! :D So I got all the info from her I needed and finally had a minute today to go grab some paint samples.

Hopped on my trusty new iPhone(LOVE IT!) and map-quested Sherman Williams,.. started Driving, and thought,.. "this is weird,..... Why am I in the middle of a residential neighborhood??,...Well, it's gotta be here somewhere!" So I kept going,.. pulled in the driveway, looked around and,.....

Well I was in the right place,.. sitting in Mr. SherMAN Williams' driveway.

I bet he is a nice guy, but I think I wanted SherWIN Williams,.. you know,.. the PAINT STORE!?!?
Maybe I should read a little more carefully next time!

-yes,......more evidence that I have completely lost it.

County Fair

I have always loved the fair. It makes me happy just thinking about it.
When I was younger, I lived in Billings, Montana. The fair there is a bit different than here in Utah, but the best parts of the fair are still the same. I will elaborate through some pictures.

They always hire very well groomed employees and by that I mean, they pick MOST of the food out of their facial hair,.. even the female employees. ;)
Places where said Carnie charge $1 to be scammed to see "The worlds smallest full grown horse that is really a normal sized baby Pony" Sure fooled Bailey,.. pssh that kid will fall for anything!

Adults walking around(well attempting to walk) completely WASTED with their kids, grand kids, and probably great-grand kids, spilling their cheep beer on those of us, watching where we are going, and walking in a straight line, but are somehow, still in your way,....?Over priced, sketchy,.... VERY sketchy food, that USUALLY makes a come-back within 30 minutes of consumption.Yummmmmm,.. Doritos for dinner. I am a really good mom!
Where we feel completely at home, kissing our cousin.

But in all honesty, we L.O.V.E. the fair.

We love to ride the rides!

It's the atmosphere we love,..
So that means, we will come back year after year and pay $1 a person to see some poor average sized Pony, advertised as the "Worlds Smallest Horse" and walk away feeling gypped. We will also eat the questionable food that will no doubt make us ill.
We will also laugh at the ridiculous clothing for sale.
See you next year!

Conservatives are the new Hippies

So this weekend, Peter and I decided to be BOLD,..
We are the new age Hippies and we were LOVIN' it!
My mom and dad have taken on the government and it's socialistic take over and I love them for it. My mom has really taught me a lot about what's going on, and Freak Gina, we need to be scared. I peed my pants I was so scared, not really,.. but peeing my pants coincides with most everything I do. {Peter said that's the only joke I ever put on here. He was right, I will be looking for new material.}

So we went to the 9/12 Rally at the Capital Building. It was a lot of fun, we felt so rebellious. I think my favorite part was all the funny signs that people made,. so here are the pictures of some of my favorite!

You might not be able to read this sign, but it says

"I'd rather be a conservative nut job than a liberal, with no nuts and no job."
Oh goodness I laughed and laughed!

A Prayer

Although I do not struggle with infertility, and have never adopted, I know those that do struggle with infertility, and those who have, in turn, Adopted. All involved amaze me, and I am forever changed by their strength.
I follow this blog from a girl that I have always looked up to, and I doubt she would even know who I am.
She taught Relief Society and I would count down to the weeks I knew she was teaching because her lessons were AMAZING!!! Her blog is amazing and right now, "The R House" needs your prayers. They adopted a little boy a year ago, who's "sperm donor" is now wanting him back. They have had to go trial over it all, and are waiting right now for the Judge to rule, (IN THEIR FAVOR).
They have been in my thoughts and prayers for weeks now, and I thought they could use a little more help.
To know more about the R House and to read more about their story click {HERE}

Pray for them,.. Pray for their judge.

Attached

I think my brain was attached to my placenta and was thrown out after Chloe got here. I hope that you enjoy my list of brainless things I have done in the last 2 months.

-Washed my face with conditioner

-Put Milk in the Cupboard

-Arrived to Chloe's doctor's appointment an entire DAY early

-Arrived to Bailey's Doctor appointment an entire MONTH early

-I was leaving the house to take Bailey to the Splash Park, had her swim suit in my hand, set it down to pick up my cell phone, and left. Got to the park, no swim suit. :D

-Got in my car, sat down, opened the garage door, looked down and realized, No shirt. That would have been HOT,.. waltzing around Costco in my Geez.

-I went out to lunch with my sister-in-laws last week, got to the restaurant and went to take Bailey out of her car seat only to realize, I had never put shoes on her.

I am sure that there are way more stories that I just simply can't remember. All this added to my everyday, always have been, always will be, retarded Amanda-isms. Like,.. I still pee my pants all the time,.. OF COURSE, Forgetting the last load of laundry in the washing machine, and then I have to wash them again cause they smell NASTY! Forgetting ESSENTIALS when we leave for the weekend. ie: contact solution and case, diapers or wipes for either, or BOTH girls (Bailey will never be potty trained because I will forget to ask her if she needs to go!)

Some day I will have my brain back, right!?

frustration.

DISCLAIMER: You may not agree with me on this.
I am kinda frustrated. I took the kiddos to the Doctor today.

Yes this little butterball is 97%,........in everything.

Heeee heee,.. she is so fat! I LOVE IT!

Well it came time to give Chloe her immunizations, instead, I am starting to give Bailey her immunizations that she didn't receive.
Here is my thought process on immunizations.
I think they are VERY important. I DON'T think that my newborn needs vaccinated for Hepatitis B the second she is brought into this world though. (Hep B is transmitted through Blood Transfusions, Sexually, and a few other ways) She isn't going to get Hep B, not to mention it's FULL of mercury. I DO think that she needs it eventually. My kids stay at home with me, if they were in daycare or preschool, I would want them immunized.
I also take issue with the fact that these shots are "one size fits all" for example, my little nephew who was a preemie, weight a whopping 4 lbs 11oz(I think I'm close) received the same amount of Hep B vaccine as my chunky 7lbs 5oz little boogers(i know, an endearing term).
I also am concerned about the link between Autism and Vaccinations. The CDC can't say yes, they do lead to Autism, but they also can't say No, they don't.
Back to the fact that I DO think that they are important. I think that some people see vaccinations for things like Polio, and Measles, aren't necessary because no one gets them,.. well no one gets them,......because of vaccinations. My children will be fully caught up by the time they are in kindergarten. But when it is Peter and I(who are vaccinated) and them, all day, everyday, I am choosing not to give my 2 month old with a brand new immune system, a bunch of mercury.
So the reason for frustration. I started catching Bailey up. The idea behind it,. instead of Chloe getting shots, Bailey gets them. So Bailey just got her 2 month shots :D.
Well we are in the Dr.'s office and all the nurses are trying to talk me into giving Bailey more than her 2 month shots, to which I said no.
They were being rude.
I was being nice, and just kindly declining.
The Dr comes in and says,
"If you are not going to immunize your children on time, we would ask that you not bring them here to be treated, please find a new physician."
-wow-
Reason being:
If I took Bailey to that office with Pertussis(whooping cough), which is highly contagious, I could infect his other patients.
ummm,... kids who ARE vaccinated can still get Pertussis. -thanks
I ran into this same problem when I took Bailey to her 2 month appointment, but her Dr(at the time) literally said,
"you are an idiot for not vaccinating."
I AM,.. just not now, JERK!
So I am now on the hunt for a Dr. who will be flexible with me.
I Never thought I would say this, but I miss BYU health clinic.
