Attitude of Gratitude

I am just feeling very grateful this fine evening, and thought I would make a list so I don't take it for granted.
First and fore most,.. My Savior

My AMAZING husband,.. I don't know how he is surviving this pregnancy!?

My beautiful daughter who makes me laugh daily. Sent straight from heaven!

I am VERY grateful to have another child. It becomes more and more of a blessing with each passing day.

Peter's job.
My home. We are VERY grateful to have a home!

Speaking of homes,.. I am grateful for His home.
A place of many things to me. Words can't say what this place means to me, for me, and for everyone who has, and is, and ever will walk this planet. What a blessing!

Yumm.

More Yumm.
I have been struck with awe many times these last few weeks, where I have felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude, and I feel like I need to show it more publicly.
Life can be hard, and I know I use this blog to vent some days, and it's easy to let the negative show more than the positive things in life, but I just want everyone to know how grateful I am for these things, and many more things.
If I had a picture of each one of you, I would post those here.
Friendship is amazing, and I am grateful for that too.
I did a whole blog about my mom, but I also want to tell my other family members how grateful I am for them.
ESPECIALLY my in-law family.
WOW,.. tears come to my eyes just thinking about it.
In fact,.. I will wait and blog them another day.
Crying gives me a headache, and I already have had one of those today.
I love you all!

A Girls Best Friend

I have had a bit of writers block lately. Sorry! PLUS my this

is gettin quite dusty! I miss her,.. I think we need to re-kindle our relationship.

ANYWAY,.. back to the reason for my blog post.

When I am pregnant,.. I HATE going to the mall. There is like ONE store that I can actually shop at, and I have been strictly forbidden from buying ANY MORE CLOTHES for the fetus(that is her name until we can agree on something!) Because her and Bailey are EXACTLY 2 years apart. Please feel my pain! WhAAAAAAAAaaA!!!
Ooh,.. I have a hard time sticking to the reason of my post.
,.... SO I hate going to the mall=my shoe collection is diminishing
Trip to New York in March=need for new shoes!!!!!!!(He never said I can't shop for my self!;)
Ya see,.. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to travel but I dislike the feeling that I have to forgo cute clothes to be comfy. SOOOO,.. I am in the market for CUTE, REALLY comfy shoes, that I can walk all over the city in. See my probLAME-o? It's a hard balance to find, cute AND oober comfy. So if ya know anything that fits this category,.. Help me out yo!
p.s. im not like a billion-aire so it also has to be like REASONABLE in price!
You guys are the best.
p.p.s. I usually check "Seriously So Blessed" right before I blog, and I catch my self saying things like TAMN does,.. so forgive me. It is a SUPER funny blog though!

Pinky and the Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain,.....

Well,.. It's More pink for the Robbins Family!!!  Bailey is going to have a little sister to boss around and fight over Barbies with.    We are so excited!!  With Bailey Peter had such a strong feeling at our 13 week ultrasound that she was a she, and she was!!! With this one, we were both clueless,.. and neither one of us had our hearts set on either.

As for names,.. Here are our two main choices, for now anyway,

Chloe Lynn
or
Brookelynn

I am going for Chloe and Peter says NO WAY,.. but I would just like to add that I was the one that filled out all the Birth Certificate information, Oh,.. and I  was also the one who carried them for 10 months!  So,.. I guess we will see who wins this war!  Muhahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

And the Brain,.. that's Bailey.  She is just becoming such a little brainiac!!!  I can't get over all the little things she knows, and they are things I haven't even sat down to teach her,.. That smart little cookie.  Hopefully her and her littler sister don't try to take over the world! ;)

Mamma

I LOVE my mom. She is fabulous!! I have blogged a little about her before but recent events(nothing serious, I'm never serious people!) have given me a NEED to blog all about her.

Patti Ella Smart Bateman

I laugh every time I hear her full name. I don't know who made it up, and I will never let her live it down, but people used to call her "fatty smella fart" when she was younger. I'm not smart enough to have made that up on my own, but MAN it's funny.
ahhhhhh,.. so funny!
We had a FAB-U-LOUS family party this last weekend here at the new pad. My mom is a saint and took a day off work to come help me, which after last week, I DEEPLY needed some help. She fulfilled the physical, we are still waiting on the mental help. My mom filled and started the dishwasher before she left, which was GREATLY appreciated. I went to empty it the next morning to find it full of these:

Don't even worry, she even tried to convince me to wash off some cling wrap and re-use it.

If this recession gets real bad, I'm gonna have to call in the mamma reinforcements to teach me to be more conservative,.... with plasticware.

Oh Mom! You kill me!

But really,.. I love this woman, and all her little CRAZY quirks!

Her frequent crying spells
Her "accidents" in Sacrament meetings,.. all of the many different ones!
Her gullible-ness
Her bad driving skills(yes I know that sentence is an oxy-moron)

And her AMAZING traits
Her ability to teach
Her strong testimony and faith
Her unwavering love for her children
Her constant desire to serve anyone and everyone
Her beautiful smile
Her love for her ancestors
Her Love for her grandchildren
I could go on and on and on.

Mom, I love you, and I am grateful for you! You're AWESOME!!!

Love, your baby girl!!

They Paved Paradise,....

And Put up a Parking Lot!

So this is my car,

Her name is Nimbus.

I have been noticing lately that whenever I am driving in a parking lot, I get soooooo irritated. I have a slight issue with road-anger(not quite rage)as it is, so this doesn't help. So whenever I am driving down the middle of the parking lot, like where you are supposed to drive, without fail, people are ALWAYS walking right in front of me, and it takes them FOREVER to move over.

I have had my car for almost 2 years now, and am JUST realizing this issue.

Nimbus sure isn't shy, she is just quiet. It's all part of her personality.

The Problem:

You can't hear Nimbus when she is being driven under about 15 miles an hour. So this is why people can't hear her.

Yes, I JUST figured this out, and no longer can be angry.

So, sorry, if you were ever a victim of my road anger, slash, Nimbus' ninja like moves, and my inching on your heals because you haven't moved over and sometimes honking. I'm sure that scares the poodie out of people, and I just have to laugh about it now! Hahahahaha! So if you are a fan of The Office, here is a WAY funny clip for you!

I couldn't get it on my actual blog cause, well, I'm a handi-tard.

Hello Dog

I am sitting here in our new house,.. WHICH WE LOVE!!!!!!! Thinking of all the little things that need done, and some of the big things too, and I realized that our new neighbors dog hasn't stopped barking in probably close to 2 hours. It seems like ever since we moved in, when the sun goes down and the lights come on, the poor thing goes BAZERK!!! It's used to this house being completely empty since it's been built.

I feel bad for the dog, only a little though, I am hoping he will give it up here pretty soon and go to bed.

But here is the REAL question,....

What is worse than moving into a new, dirty house, going to Logan for a nice day of total family dysfunction, getting one of the worst colds of your life, finding grasshoppers who decided to camp out for winter in your new house, and really bad chapped lips?

Well,..Having all of that, PLUS Bailey having the worst cold of her life, including crying boogers, and not knowing what the heck is going on because she hasn't been "home" in quite some time now.

Other than that, we ARE adjusting to life here in PG, and I get more and more excited, the more things get put together, even though it's OOBER slow goin.

The list of things to get, and things to get done, grows amazingly fast, and there is just not enough time in a day.

Have you ever seen or heard of the show, "Date my house"? Well I think that is the best idea I have ever heard! It's amazing the little things you learn about when you actually LIVE there. Like light switches?? WOW,.. it's amazing!! So I would never go back on our choice in a home, but there are of COURSE things that I would change to suit me, and my family better,.. so since we will be here until death do us part (good thing the people are stuck with me for eternity!) Im sure there are things that we will be changing, but not for a while!

Well,.. I know I am rambling, but that's what happens when all I have to do is blog it up yo! So I love all ya'll's and BLOG ON my fellow bloggas!!

(I don't even know what I am saying now!)

Random Picture, cuz Im sick of words!

p.s. the dog is STILL barking, in case you were wonderin!
And yes,.. I moved to PG so that means I am gangsta hence the new vocab! You're right, living in PG means a whole lot-a nothin!
