ANGER!!!

Dear Mother of the boy that ATTACKED my beautiful daughter at the McDonald's play land,

I don't like your son! He was VICIOUS to my baby girl.
The End.
It all started with him violently RIPPING out her cute bow, and standing there with a very mean look on his face. I, being the over protective mamma JUMPED out of my seat, ran over there, and admittedly, confiscated, in a not so nice manner her bow, picked up my sobbing child, comforted her, and then let her go back and play. NOT EVEN 10 minutes later, Bailey was playing on the "lides" (slides) and i turned my head and the next thing I knew, I heard Bailey's "Mom, I'm really hurt" cry. I once again JUMPED to my feet, in a panic to find my baby girl. When I got to her, the beast of a child was gone, and I was there to assess the injury's. I could tell right away that the little punk had done something to her face, right in front of her ear, but I couldn't tell if it was a scratch or a bite, but within a few seconds I could see the teeth marks, and she was SOOOOOOO upset. Bailey has never really been hurt before, let alone by another kid, and I was SOOO angry. Looking back I remember just picking her up, and walking around with a big look of disgust, and outrage on my face looking for the parent of this beast. Mamma bear instincts kicked in and all in one moment, and almost started hyperventilating and bawling at the same time, and I just wanted to yell and scream at this little boy.

A few minutes later, the Mom found me and brought the little boy over to "say sorry" and Bailey is still just bawling. And the mom said sorry, and I just looked at her was like, "it's not okay."

So Bailey recovered, from the trauma, and she will survive it all. We ate lunch and she wanted to go play again, so I let her, but I knew she would be okay, but I watched that little boy like a hawk!!!! Well his mom decided that instead of watching him herself, that she would put her daughters in charge of keeping him away from Bailey. FIRST MISTAKE! NOT EVEN 15 minutes later I hear another baby scream and he had bit another little girl on the arm and broke the skin.

I understand that kids bite. It's a thing that some go through, and I am not saying that any kid that bites is a beast, but this boy obviously targeted Bailey from the get go, and the mom was just chit chattin' it up in the corner, and couldn't even see him. If you know your kid has a biting problem, watch them when they are with other kids. I would never sue anyone over something like this, but I can see how a parent would. If people can sue over dogs biting, why not kids!? Anyway, here is the injury. It's more of a bruise today.

As you can tell, this isn't a place that there is a lot of skin, so you can tell he totally pinned her down and just went in for the kill! GAHHHHHH!!! You mean boy you!!

HOME for the Holidays!?!? Not so much!!

It sure was fun to be where we were for Christmas,.. and that was with Family. It doesn't matter where we are,.. we know how to have fun!! But we ( MY SIDE) also puts the fun in DISFUNCTIONAL!! We were able to spend 4 days at a fun cabin in Heber over Christmas, which was VERY fun,.. the drive there and home,.. not so fun!! Luckily we made it safe!! Bailey had a BLAST with Uncle Bob, and Spencer. And even more fun in the snow with Daddy! I only had one crazed moment of hysterical laughing, followed by an UGLY cry/bawl session!! (you know what that is, we all have an ugly cry!) Bailey LOVES Uncle Bob!

My cute mom making Gingerbread men with the grand kids!

A fun time playing the chimes to Christmas songs on Christmas Eve.

We had to get in like a million games of Ticket to Ride. I am kinda mad that I taught everyone how to play, because now they all beat me! Punks!

My Dad isn't the "sleep in" type, but he slept a little later than normal on Christmas morning, so my siblings and I decided to relive our childhood by walking him up. It was classic and so fun!

Santa knew Bailey LOVES books, and so she got a BOAT load and was SOOO excited!

I GOT MY MIXER!!!!!!!! YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bailey's FIRST bubble bath,.. I know I am a lame mom, but I had my reasons for waiting, non legit of course!

Christmas came and went (as it always does) and we were headed "home" for a 3 hour break, just to head up to Spring Haven for another weekend of Robbins Family awesomeness! They aren't so Dysfunctional!

All the cousins in their new outfits from Grandma and Grandpa!

Spring Haven has THE best places to go sledding. Waist deep know made it a little hard, so we stuck to the easy stuff and just pulled Bailey. SHE LOVED IT!!!

And the poor pink marshmallow didn't love sharing her sled so much.

As a little side story, on our way back to Provo, Peter looked at me and said "Well Christmas is over" and from the back seat we hear a VERY excited baby saying, YEA!!!!! Yea! Yea!!! I don't think she meant it! Cause let's face it, Santa knew she was a VERY good girl this year and didn't spare on the rewards!

On a little sadder note. I haven't been able to get this out of my head so I thought I would share. In our 3 hour break at home before we headed to Spring Haven I turned on the t.v. for a few minutes, just in time to hear that 2 good friends from High School had been killed in a Snowmobiling/Avalanche accident on Christmas Eve. One being a newlywed of just 3 short months. It breaks my heart to think of the world without these men, and how their families' hearts are aching. My thoughts and prayers go out to these families and Erik's beautiful wife. It makes me realize how amazing the atonement truly is, and how wonderful this gospel is. I pray that when the time of mourning has passed and there is healing happening for everyone affected, they will lean on the Lord for comfort and come to truly understand (more so than I) the atonement, and blessings of eternal marriage, and eternal families. Erik, and Jesse, you will be missed!

Happy New year to all this week!

Christmas Season is FINALLY here!!

It has been a fun week at the Robbins house hold.
Monday-Ward Christmas Party "A Night in Bethlehem"
Tuesday- We were able to go to the MTC with Peter's parents and hear Lynn address the missionaries. It was wonderful!
Wednesday- Cheesecake Factory for Peter's Birthday
Thursday- Always a fun night at home! We (I) decided since I hadn't cooked yet this week,... WHY start?? So we ordered Nicoitalia Pizza(A must if you have never had it!) and rented Wall-E and OF course The Office,.. we are TOTAL fans (addicts)
Friday- We put an offer in on another house, and headed to Salt Lake. We were headed up there to go to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's Christmas Concert. We got to Centerville a little later than we wanted and so finding a restaurant to eat at posed slightly difficult. So we decided to dine in style in De Restaurant ala VenDing Machine. It was "World Class" dining. Then we were headed to the concert. After our VIP dining we really did get some VIP treatment. We (It was my first time everyone elses hundredth) got to walk through the underground tunnels to the conference center. It was really fun too! I'm not used to all the VIP-ness.
The concert was AMAZING!!! Brian STOKES Mitchell( I know,.. just a middle name away from the creepo that kidnapped Elizabeth Smart) was there. He is the guy that sings, Look through Heavens Eyes from Prince of Egypt. He was great, and we even got to meet him after. Also Edward Herrmann (he plays Roosevelt in Annie) was there also. He was great too. I had been having a hard time really enjoying the Christmas Season this year and I just wasn't feelin it,.. I have just been feelin sick! But being there, and listening to such an amazing musical performance was just what I needed.
Then I woke up to snow(or as Bailey calls it, Nose, she can't get the "S" in front) Nothing better than snow to make me feel like it's Christmas.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Happy Birthday my Sweet!!

In honor of one of my recent posts!

Today is Peter's birthday! 28th Birthday to be exact!! I have only been around for 3 of those 28 years,.. but watching all the amazing-ness he has packed into those 3 years just makes me wish I had been around for at least the last 22 of them! ;) I love you babe!!
It's a Robbins Family tradition to serve breakfast in bed to the birthday boy(or girl) and I hopped on that band wagon when we got married. (Cause that means that if I do it for him,.. I get it too!!) So Peter got a yummy breakfast of Champions complete with Biscuits and Gravy, Sausage, lots of fruit, and chocolate milk!! YUMM!!! Bailey didn't mind helping Daddy with the grapes.

Then Peter was off to work. With school coming to a close this week, he has been pretty busy, but didn't mind skipping class this morning (most likely to let ME sleep in!)

After Peter got home from work, we headed north to Riverton to check out this AWESOME house that I have accidentally fallen in love with, and then to the beloved CheeseCake Factory, our very favorite!!! We ate our selves into oblivion, and still brought home MOST of our main course!!

Well Peter Lynn,.. I love you to pieces!! I am glad I conned you into marrying me so I can have the most amazing husband on the planet!! Happy Birthday Sweetheart!!!

Sorry no pics,.. I forgot to take any pictures today! I know I am LAME!!

WHAT IN THE WORLD!?

No,.. this is not a post about the Theater!

Last night Peter and I crawled into bed and were JUST talking (like I would talk about the other!? Actually I would! Hahaha!) anyway, Peter bet me that I couldn't name all the different "12 days of Christmas" and I attempted to prove him wrong. So I started, A Partridge in a Pear tree, and I did pretty well until the 11th day, so with a little hubby help, I was at 12,.. 12 WHAT? I don't know!? I COULD NOT guess it, and I just started laughing, and then I started REALLY laughing and before I knew it I was laughing so hard, my nostrils were flaring, and I couldn't breathe! This lasted for oh, prolly 5 minutes. That part of the story happens probably monthly. I guess I just need to laugh and so I just do, and Peter sits there watching me fight for air and my nostrils flapping in the wind. Well, at about minute 6, I looked at Peter and I just start bawling,.. WHAT???? I know! I was just overwhelmed with how much I love him, and I couldn't hold back the tears, they were just streaming down my face and I couldn't stop. I need to add THERE WAS NO BREAK BETWEEN!! I SERIOUSLY went from laughing HYSTERICALLY to BAWLING faster than a Porshe goes from 0-60! Then I couldn't figure out what the heck was wrong with me and so I stared laughing again, and finally after about 15 minutes or craziness I was hungry and tired, so I ate a tums and fell asleep.

OH THE JOYS OF PREGNANCY! Luckily those are my emotional outbursts!

It's DaDa!

I am totally laughing my flabby-buns off at this moment! Peter just got home from work and school (and Christmas shopping). He ate dinner and then we decided that it would be a good thing to wake Bailey up from her MUCH needed late afternoon nap. Well when Peter is home,.. Bailey will have NOTHING to do with me. I am chopped liver as far as she is concerned. Well when you wake the beast from the dead of sleep, it makes it even worse. So, in Peter's awesome efforts to entertain her and relax a little himself, he turned on the XBox(which was getting pretty dusty!) He decided that she would probably enjoy this game most

He was right,.. SHE LOVED IT! It's a RIDICULOUS game but kinda funny. So They are sitting there and Bailey caught a good glimpse of Homer and got SOOOO excited and started giggling, she lifted up her cute little chubby arm and pointed her cute little chubby finger at the T.V. and in such a happy voice says,.... "It's DaDa!!"

OH SO FUNNY!!!!! Babe,.. I love your big bald head!!!

Dear Vomit,

I loathe you.
I detest you.
You are very smelly!
You spew from every facial orifice (I guess not my ears, surprisingly!) Usually cleaning you up, creates that urge from deep within to forceably spew everything I HAVE eaten, WANTED to eat, and WILL eat in the near future, all over whoever and whatever is anywhere near me! And DON'T get me started with the lingering urge to continue vomiting ALLLLLLL DAYYYYYY LONGGGGGGG!!! When you come out of my daughter, it is usually in the form of curdled milk,.. GAH!! Your odor can be easily identified but first sniff, and it doesn't matter how well I scrub, or how much spray, or many candles I light, I am certain your sent is BURNT into my palate, not even coffee can cure it! But what I don't understand is how long your sent sticks to her skin, and hair. GAHHHH!!!!!! GO AWAY AND NEVER COME BACK!!!!!

Team Jacob All the Way!!!

Last night, Peter's TOTALLY awesome cousin, who manages a movie theater, allowed a bunch of Robbins Twilight Fanatic Cousins to come and view the movie a whole DAY early. TOTALLY AWESOME!!!
Some of us decided to get together a little early to treat ourselves to some sugary (compote) goodness at Villiage Inn. DELISH!
I grew up with 3 cousins,.. yes,.. TOTAL, and they were all older than me, and lived far away. I don't think I have seen any of them for about 10 years. SO to be around all of Peter's cousins is really fun for me, not to mention they are HILARIOUS!!!! It could have very well been that it was 11:00 and I usually don't last past 10:00 on a good night! It was REALLY good to get out, have some good laughs, and catch a sappy romance vid-eo!
(p.s. Thanks to all the Robbins family members that make me feel like I have ALWAYS been a member of the family.)
~*MOVIE REVIEW*~
*STOP READING NOW IF YOU WOULD RATHER SEE THE MOVIE AND MAKE YOUR OWN OPINION!*
Overall I liked the movie. Of course reading the book is better, but I thought that they did a pretty good job.
*We all find certain things attractive i.e. bald and all muscle=yummy!!! But that's me! I personally didn't find Edward attractive. I thought that he looked too old, WAY older than Bella.
*I was REALLY glad that they figured out how to do Carlisle's make-up after the first scene with him in it, cause it was SOOOOO bad!!!
*I love JACOB BLACK!
*I was really worried about how they would pull off "sparkle in the sun" but they DID IT!!!!
*I LOVE THE BASEBALL SCENE!!
*There IS some cheese to go with Bella's Wine but what girl doesn't love some cheese?!?
So overall, I liked it,.. and I dare say I loved it,.. because hey,.. I LOVED the book!!
We had some fun taking pictures! Thanks Rach for letting me steal them off your blog, and for letting me come along!!

So maybe all this Vampire business made me a little thirsty. See that cavity free mouth!? Eat your heart out Edward! Muwahahahahahaha!!

Am I cut out for this!?

So here is a whining post for ya.

I LOVE pregnancy but for real,.. the first trimester BITES!!! I am SOO unbelievably tired, ALL day. Today I was driving home from a long day of house shopping and I realized that I didn't have everything I needed to compile an entire feast of my amazing cooking skills, N'T!!!! So I thought, well I will just stop by the store, and then I just wanted to go home, curl up on the couch and sleep, sleep, sleep my life away. I was thinking, I put the azy in Lazy. I am too lazy to cook, but then thinking of the alternatives, I am also too lazy to get up, walk down the stairs, get in the car, and go out to eat too. Lazy, lazy lazy. I am sure that poor Bailey is wondering what the heck happened to her normally spastic mother.

I no longer enjoy the thoughts of climbing between the sheets to have a long nap because as soon as my stomach is horizontal and perfectly aligned with my mouth, all I want to do is vomit all over, hoping that makes me feel better.

On to house work. BAHHHHHH!! I give up because trying to "keep up" is killing me.

House shopping.... I LOVE to look at pretty houses, but WHY OH WHY can't I afford the ones I REALLY want???

Our Apartment. You know the saying, "A place for everything, and Everything in it's place." Does all over the floor and the counter tops COVERED mean it's in it's place? They don't really ever move!?!?!? Don't get me wrong, I am grateful for a roof over my head, but we are just bustin at the seams here!

AND,.. I totally burnt my fingers on my hot glue gun today. BLARGE!!

All in all,.. I am surviving,.. but I may be losing my mind!!

My heart hurts today

Watching the news lately brings much sadness to my heart. I have a strong testimony of this church, it's work, it's beliefs and I am proud to say that I BELONG and I BELIEVE in this great work. There have been many vandalism cases at churches here in Utah, along with the MANY protests at Temples across the country. Also the terrorist attack scare at the Salt Lake Temple and Los Angeles Temple.

My heart aches to think of what the early saints went through, because it was so much more than this. They left their homes, families, posessions behind to flee the persecution. I am grateful for their sacrifice!

I understand that the people who are doing all of this just don't, and can't possibly understand what they are doing.

But in all the chaos I am grateful that within the walls of that Holy Temple, House of the Lord, it is peaceful, and HE resides there. I am grateful to be raised in this dispensation when the church reins on the earth, and we have the truth and knowledge of what is right. I am MOST grateful for the SACRED ordinances performed there that allows my family to be and eternal one. It allows my mom and dad to be sealed to their mothers and fathers who didn't accept the Gospel in this life.

Just a little testimony for ya!

The Boo,.....Ger

I was looking at Bailey's cute little squishy face today thinking "My goodness how you have grown" and the following thought (as it usually is) was "I need to blog it!" So here I am, just updating you all on how big she is getting.

She is honestly the funniest little girl! She has started being REALLY interactive (vocally) With it being just Bailey and I here all day, I just pretend she is a grown-up and I usually ask her questions, and then answer them for her. But she has learned "Yeah" and "Nao" So these are our conversations.

"Bailey, did you know you are the cutest!?" "yeah"
"Bailey, Do you want to go Bye Bye?" "yeah"
"Are you poopie? Should we change you!?" "Nao" -and then runs to "base" which is her bean bag. I guess she thinks she is home free!
"Do you want to get in your car seat?" "yeah"
"Did you know you are a stinker?" "yeah"

So on a so forth! It's really fun. We have a blast thinking of new questions to ask her.

She is still OBSESSED with the Wiggles. She usually ends up watching it while I am getting ready in the morning. But she always HAS to shower with me, or else she ends up IN the shower fully clothed. Not so cute! I am just too lazy to get up before her! It usually takes her sitting on my head for 20 min in the morning as it is. REALLY,.. that is her FAVORITE place to sit! Silly Girl!

Bailey has developed a new disease. I like to call it "TheChronicChaseMode" It doesn't matter why I am walking or looking anywhere in her direction, she usually squeals and runs to, yep, you guessed it, Home base, her beloved purple bean bag.

Bailey also decided that when I am in the pantry, or fridge, or doing Laundry, it's REALLY fun to close the door on Mommy. It's cute for like a minute!

The Tantrums are out of this world! I officially believe she is very advanced for her age because the terrible two's are here, and she is only 16 months old! VERY advanced! Baby Girl,.. Your Mamma's proud!!

Well I will just post some pictures of this girl, who is going to have to start sharing EVERYTHING one of these days! THANK GOODNESS for those 9 months right Katie? ;)

This is how we told the Robbins clan about the Fetus

Bailey has also learned the word Cheese,.. and she doesn't like to eat it,.. maybe I take a lot of pictures!?

Makes me sick!

It's a deal Breaker!!! I can't believe anyone would vote for someone who believes this. I can't seem to believe that if a person, none the less a father, could be okay with PARTIAL BIRTH ABORTION, then why would they care to keep the rest of this nation safe. It is a defining characteristic, and NOT one I want to be president!!!

I am terrified of this thing( I can't even call it human!)

p.s. we put an offer in on that house I posted earlier! I am prayin, REAL hard we get it!

Im Bloggin It!

Yes that is supposed to be sung like the McDonalds Theme Song! (Im Lovin IT)

OMGosh I LOVE Halloween! It is such a fun holiday. We really aren't celebrating anything, it's just an excuse to dress up silly, eat a crap load of Candy, and scare your self on purpose!!! MAN I love it!!
This Halloween has been VERY fun. We have been to a few parties, along with a Disneyland trip(Disneyland was DECKED out for Halloween!) This will be a fall to remember for a long time! I have already posted our pictures from Disneyland(the picture at the head of the blog is from Disneyland.) But I thought that it would be fun to post some other ones too!!!
At this party we went to, We made these really fun pizzas. We cut up all the different kids of toppings you could think of and the challenge was to make a creative Halloween themed Pizza. Ours was the Witch. I had good help, Thanks Babe! I was retarded and didn't grease the pan before I put the dough in. I guess I got a little excited! It was good either way. We thought this was a really fun idea, so we plan on doing a party like this someday when we have a little more room to host!
Peter had one of his classes cancelled on Tuesday, so we hopped in the car and headed to Gardner Village. This has become a tradition for us, we go every year around Halloween and see the fun witches and get some good grub at Archibald's. If you have never been,.. We highly recommend it!
I thought this was really funny! I would KILL if someone EVER gave my children either of these,.. so don't get any big ideas people!
At Gardner Village they have a Christmas Shop that is open year round. We saw this Santa and Bailey DID NOT LIKE HIM!! So I guess I know what we are in for when it's time to sit on Santa's lap. (She loved him last year)
We also had a little family party on Monday and we decided to have the kids all dress up together and so I had to capture the Bestie cousins picture!! Eve didn't want to wear the hood part and Bailey would get mad when it wasn't on. It was pretty cute!I hope everyone has a SUPER Happy Halloween!!
p.s. my mom called me today to warn me about the chocolate coins that might be given out,.. I guess the milk used in them is tainted and is killing kids!? I guess I need to Snoops it,.. but just a little heads up!!

Disneyland

This last weekend some of my side of the family decided to hit the road to the Happiest Place on Earth. We had so much fun! HUGE thanks to Amanda(my sister-in-law) planned and executed it all, and I'm sure it was quite the feat! Thanks so much!
All Smiles Before we Left Provo!

We decided to break up the trip and spend one night in Vegas. We stayed at the Stratosphere, and then walked the strip the next morning, catching a Water show at the Belagio, A-MAZING! (This was really my first time to Vegas)
Spencer decided he needed Mariah to hold his hand the whole trip,.. SO cute!!!!

Then we headed off to California. We settled into the hotel when we got there, got an OKAY nights sleep(how well can you sleep the night before Disneyland? It's very comparable to Christmas Eve)

So I won't bore you with the details, but here are our pictures of our fun 2 days at the land of Disney.

Bailey did pretty well. She was VERY Happy when we let her out of her stroller to talk around, and usually that was in the souvenir stores. She very quickly found this Mickey Stuffed Animal, and we waited until the last hour at Disneyland that we would get it for her. She hasn't let it out of her sight since. She LOVES her Mickey. She has never attached herself to anything before and so I think this is a fun thing. We tried talking her into Minnie but she wanted NOTHING to do with her, so Mickey it is. But when usually if she wasn't running free, or on a ride, she was screaming. She didn't want to take any naps, and I don't blame her! How can you sleep at a place like Disneyland!?

We also decided to start a new little tradition. We found a really fun Christmas Ornament at Disneyland and we thought, it would be really fun to start getting a Ornaments everywhere we travel. We don't have TOO much catching up to do, but we will so we have our travel tree! Hopefully someday we will need a REALLY big tree,.. meaning we have traveled a lot!!
