Makes me sick!
It's a deal Breaker!!! I can't believe anyone would vote for someone who believes this. I can't seem to believe that if a person, none the less a father, could be okay with PARTIAL BIRTH ABORTION, then why would they care to keep the rest of this nation safe. It is a defining characteristic, and NOT one I want to be president!!!
I am terrified of this thing( I can't even call it human!)
p.s. we put an offer in on that house I posted earlier! I am prayin, REAL hard we get it!

thanks for this post! i can't believe some of the things that come out of his mouth! mind-boggling!! when he said "if his daughters make a mistake......" i want to say then..."they will learn that choices bring concequences." why not adoption obama?????????? oh, how he scares me too!

I saw this youtube video on another blog and I couldn't believe my ears either! He is a disgusting individual.
I'm sure you haven't forgotten that I will be voting for Obama. :) If you want to know how I have come to terms with the issue of my and his different views on abortion then shoot me an email and I'll tell you about it. (I figured a comment explaining my thoughts might get to be too long) And the part with Christ drawing the line in the dirt at the end of the video... I feel like I can vote for Obama and still be a good Christian.
I got a little sick myself. I hated that he said a baby would be a punishment! I agree completely . . . how could a father ever think a baby is a punishment?
Seriously. I think it is crazy that he says that if his daughters make a poor choice he doesn't think they should have to have the punishment of a baby! HELLO!!!! Welcome to consequences for your actions. Has he ever heard of adoption? But seriously why would we want a leader who doesn't believe in consequences for your actions. Will he just let murderers off the hook because the consequences or punishments are just too much to handle!! Please. Thanks for posting this Amanda.
I completely agree with you. The first time I heard that, I broke down in tears- I can't believe anyone could feel alright about doing something like that. On a different note, you and your family are so cute! I love your Halloween costumes. Bailey is just too darn cute!

I don't like the Jesus with the stick part at the end either... BUT I seriously do not know how some people can justify standing by and "coming to terms with this". People do not realize what will happend when someone who supports abortion and gay marriage gets to appoint supreme court judges. Our society will change drastically when/if that happens. Some people just do not realize what a big deal those two issues actually are. Unfortunately they will probably find out. :(
To defend what I said, and keep my opinion short, having researched what the video stated, the quote of Obama saying his daughters should not be punished by having a baby is out of context and has nothing to do with abortion. I have also researched the Freedom of Choice Act and the statement about it on the video is also a distortion. Barack Obama does not support gay marriage as again, I have researched the issue. I think it is important to research before I simply believe what is sometimes "easier" to believe. How many times have Mormons been misunderstood because people believed what was "easy" to believe instead of finding out fact from fiction/distortion?
