ANGER!!!

Dear Mother of the boy that ATTACKED my beautiful daughter at the McDonald's play land,

I don't like your son! He was VICIOUS to my baby girl.
The End.
It all started with him violently RIPPING out her cute bow, and standing there with a very mean look on his face. I, being the over protective mamma JUMPED out of my seat, ran over there, and admittedly, confiscated, in a not so nice manner her bow, picked up my sobbing child, comforted her, and then let her go back and play. NOT EVEN 10 minutes later, Bailey was playing on the "lides" (slides) and i turned my head and the next thing I knew, I heard Bailey's "Mom, I'm really hurt" cry. I once again JUMPED to my feet, in a panic to find my baby girl. When I got to her, the beast of a child was gone, and I was there to assess the injury's. I could tell right away that the little punk had done something to her face, right in front of her ear, but I couldn't tell if it was a scratch or a bite, but within a few seconds I could see the teeth marks, and she was SOOOOOOO upset. Bailey has never really been hurt before, let alone by another kid, and I was SOOO angry. Looking back I remember just picking her up, and walking around with a big look of disgust, and outrage on my face looking for the parent of this beast. Mamma bear instincts kicked in and all in one moment, and almost started hyperventilating and bawling at the same time, and I just wanted to yell and scream at this little boy.

A few minutes later, the Mom found me and brought the little boy over to "say sorry" and Bailey is still just bawling. And the mom said sorry, and I just looked at her was like, "it's not okay."

So Bailey recovered, from the trauma, and she will survive it all. We ate lunch and she wanted to go play again, so I let her, but I knew she would be okay, but I watched that little boy like a hawk!!!! Well his mom decided that instead of watching him herself, that she would put her daughters in charge of keeping him away from Bailey. FIRST MISTAKE! NOT EVEN 15 minutes later I hear another baby scream and he had bit another little girl on the arm and broke the skin.

I understand that kids bite. It's a thing that some go through, and I am not saying that any kid that bites is a beast, but this boy obviously targeted Bailey from the get go, and the mom was just chit chattin' it up in the corner, and couldn't even see him. If you know your kid has a biting problem, watch them when they are with other kids. I would never sue anyone over something like this, but I can see how a parent would. If people can sue over dogs biting, why not kids!? Anyway, here is the injury. It's more of a bruise today.

As you can tell, this isn't a place that there is a lot of skin, so you can tell he totally pinned her down and just went in for the kill! GAHHHHHH!!! You mean boy you!!

HOME for the Holidays!?!? Not so much!!

It sure was fun to be where we were for Christmas,.. and that was with Family. It doesn't matter where we are,.. we know how to have fun!! But we ( MY SIDE) also puts the fun in DISFUNCTIONAL!! We were able to spend 4 days at a fun cabin in Heber over Christmas, which was VERY fun,.. the drive there and home,.. not so fun!! Luckily we made it safe!! Bailey had a BLAST with Uncle Bob, and Spencer. And even more fun in the snow with Daddy! I only had one crazed moment of hysterical laughing, followed by an UGLY cry/bawl session!! (you know what that is, we all have an ugly cry!) Bailey LOVES Uncle Bob!

My cute mom making Gingerbread men with the grand kids!

A fun time playing the chimes to Christmas songs on Christmas Eve.

We had to get in like a million games of Ticket to Ride. I am kinda mad that I taught everyone how to play, because now they all beat me! Punks!

My Dad isn't the "sleep in" type, but he slept a little later than normal on Christmas morning, so my siblings and I decided to relive our childhood by walking him up. It was classic and so fun!

Santa knew Bailey LOVES books, and so she got a BOAT load and was SOOO excited!

I GOT MY MIXER!!!!!!!! YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bailey's FIRST bubble bath,.. I know I am a lame mom, but I had my reasons for waiting, non legit of course!

Christmas came and went (as it always does) and we were headed "home" for a 3 hour break, just to head up to Spring Haven for another weekend of Robbins Family awesomeness! They aren't so Dysfunctional!

All the cousins in their new outfits from Grandma and Grandpa!

Spring Haven has THE best places to go sledding. Waist deep know made it a little hard, so we stuck to the easy stuff and just pulled Bailey. SHE LOVED IT!!!

And the poor pink marshmallow didn't love sharing her sled so much.

As a little side story, on our way back to Provo, Peter looked at me and said "Well Christmas is over" and from the back seat we hear a VERY excited baby saying, YEA!!!!! Yea! Yea!!! I don't think she meant it! Cause let's face it, Santa knew she was a VERY good girl this year and didn't spare on the rewards!

On a little sadder note. I haven't been able to get this out of my head so I thought I would share. In our 3 hour break at home before we headed to Spring Haven I turned on the t.v. for a few minutes, just in time to hear that 2 good friends from High School had been killed in a Snowmobiling/Avalanche accident on Christmas Eve. One being a newlywed of just 3 short months. It breaks my heart to think of the world without these men, and how their families' hearts are aching. My thoughts and prayers go out to these families and Erik's beautiful wife. It makes me realize how amazing the atonement truly is, and how wonderful this gospel is. I pray that when the time of mourning has passed and there is healing happening for everyone affected, they will lean on the Lord for comfort and come to truly understand (more so than I) the atonement, and blessings of eternal marriage, and eternal families. Erik, and Jesse, you will be missed!

Happy New year to all this week!

Christmas Season is FINALLY here!!

It has been a fun week at the Robbins house hold.
Monday-Ward Christmas Party "A Night in Bethlehem"
Tuesday- We were able to go to the MTC with Peter's parents and hear Lynn address the missionaries. It was wonderful!
Wednesday- Cheesecake Factory for Peter's Birthday
Thursday- Always a fun night at home! We (I) decided since I hadn't cooked yet this week,... WHY start?? So we ordered Nicoitalia Pizza(A must if you have never had it!) and rented Wall-E and OF course The Office,.. we are TOTAL fans (addicts)
Friday- We put an offer in on another house, and headed to Salt Lake. We were headed up there to go to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's Christmas Concert. We got to Centerville a little later than we wanted and so finding a restaurant to eat at posed slightly difficult. So we decided to dine in style in De Restaurant ala VenDing Machine. It was "World Class" dining. Then we were headed to the concert. After our VIP dining we really did get some VIP treatment. We (It was my first time everyone elses hundredth) got to walk through the underground tunnels to the conference center. It was really fun too! I'm not used to all the VIP-ness.
The concert was AMAZING!!! Brian STOKES Mitchell( I know,.. just a middle name away from the creepo that kidnapped Elizabeth Smart) was there. He is the guy that sings, Look through Heavens Eyes from Prince of Egypt. He was great, and we even got to meet him after. Also Edward Herrmann (he plays Roosevelt in Annie) was there also. He was great too. I had been having a hard time really enjoying the Christmas Season this year and I just wasn't feelin it,.. I have just been feelin sick! But being there, and listening to such an amazing musical performance was just what I needed.
Then I woke up to snow(or as Bailey calls it, Nose, she can't get the "S" in front) Nothing better than snow to make me feel like it's Christmas.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Happy Birthday my Sweet!!

In honor of one of my recent posts!

Today is Peter's birthday! 28th Birthday to be exact!! I have only been around for 3 of those 28 years,.. but watching all the amazing-ness he has packed into those 3 years just makes me wish I had been around for at least the last 22 of them! ;) I love you babe!!
It's a Robbins Family tradition to serve breakfast in bed to the birthday boy(or girl) and I hopped on that band wagon when we got married. (Cause that means that if I do it for him,.. I get it too!!) So Peter got a yummy breakfast of Champions complete with Biscuits and Gravy, Sausage, lots of fruit, and chocolate milk!! YUMM!!! Bailey didn't mind helping Daddy with the grapes.

Then Peter was off to work. With school coming to a close this week, he has been pretty busy, but didn't mind skipping class this morning (most likely to let ME sleep in!)

After Peter got home from work, we headed north to Riverton to check out this AWESOME house that I have accidentally fallen in love with, and then to the beloved CheeseCake Factory, our very favorite!!! We ate our selves into oblivion, and still brought home MOST of our main course!!

Well Peter Lynn,.. I love you to pieces!! I am glad I conned you into marrying me so I can have the most amazing husband on the planet!! Happy Birthday Sweetheart!!!

Sorry no pics,.. I forgot to take any pictures today! I know I am LAME!!

WHAT IN THE WORLD!?

No,.. this is not a post about the Theater!

Last night Peter and I crawled into bed and were JUST talking (like I would talk about the other!? Actually I would! Hahaha!) anyway, Peter bet me that I couldn't name all the different "12 days of Christmas" and I attempted to prove him wrong. So I started, A Partridge in a Pear tree, and I did pretty well until the 11th day, so with a little hubby help, I was at 12,.. 12 WHAT? I don't know!? I COULD NOT guess it, and I just started laughing, and then I started REALLY laughing and before I knew it I was laughing so hard, my nostrils were flaring, and I couldn't breathe! This lasted for oh, prolly 5 minutes. That part of the story happens probably monthly. I guess I just need to laugh and so I just do, and Peter sits there watching me fight for air and my nostrils flapping in the wind. Well, at about minute 6, I looked at Peter and I just start bawling,.. WHAT???? I know! I was just overwhelmed with how much I love him, and I couldn't hold back the tears, they were just streaming down my face and I couldn't stop. I need to add THERE WAS NO BREAK BETWEEN!! I SERIOUSLY went from laughing HYSTERICALLY to BAWLING faster than a Porshe goes from 0-60! Then I couldn't figure out what the heck was wrong with me and so I stared laughing again, and finally after about 15 minutes or craziness I was hungry and tired, so I ate a tums and fell asleep.

OH THE JOYS OF PREGNANCY! Luckily those are my emotional outbursts!

It's DaDa!

I am totally laughing my flabby-buns off at this moment! Peter just got home from work and school (and Christmas shopping). He ate dinner and then we decided that it would be a good thing to wake Bailey up from her MUCH needed late afternoon nap. Well when Peter is home,.. Bailey will have NOTHING to do with me. I am chopped liver as far as she is concerned. Well when you wake the beast from the dead of sleep, it makes it even worse. So, in Peter's awesome efforts to entertain her and relax a little himself, he turned on the XBox(which was getting pretty dusty!) He decided that she would probably enjoy this game most

He was right,.. SHE LOVED IT! It's a RIDICULOUS game but kinda funny. So They are sitting there and Bailey caught a good glimpse of Homer and got SOOOO excited and started giggling, she lifted up her cute little chubby arm and pointed her cute little chubby finger at the T.V. and in such a happy voice says,.... "It's DaDa!!"

OH SO FUNNY!!!!! Babe,.. I love your big bald head!!!
