Well,.. Ty(Extreme Home Makeover! Peter didn't get it!,...?) isn't announcing it,.. but I am!
WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's not ALL official and stuff, but I can't keep my trap shut, and I will be the first to admit it!!!
There are a few things that need done on it,.. ie CLEANED and the floors aren't finished, bathrooms need mirrors.
But MOST important, there is MUCH furniture to be bought,.. and colors to be chosen, pictures to be hung, all by yours truly of course! So I hope it isn't a total flop!
We are REALLY excited about it, and I will keep you all updated with pictures,.. it will probably be on a room by room basis, so be patient with me here people! If you have ideas, or great places to shop,.. fill me in yo! This girl needs as much advice as she can get! I am a religious Tai Pan customer, so thank goodness for that store!!!!

Congrats, I'm so jealous. I can't wait to buy a house and I hope it looks half as good as the one you guys picked out. The kitchen looks amazing, was that a double oven I saw?

Wow, Congratulations! I hope everything goes through just fine. It's so fun to own your own home. It looks so nice, too. I'm excited to own a new home someday. :) Decorating and painting are so much fun!! You're going to be great at it. If you're not in a huge hurry to get things, I have a great tip, and a great plug for my husband. :) We've gotten all of our furniture in the "scratch and dent" section at RC Willey in Provo. They're basically returned murchandise for one reason or another. But, ours don't have scratches or dents. Anyway, Brent works there, and can get amazing deals for friends and family... So, if you're interested in really nice, non expensive furnishings, let him know!
manda! i LOVE it!! can i come play? i think if i had a kitchen like that i would make something yummy everyday!! i just started working for a company called staged elements. we do mostly staging for homes for sale, but we've helped with new homes too! i know it can get overwhelming...but it's so so fun. we've recently added online advice so check out the website if you want a professional's (not me...my boss) opinion on decorating the house!

Beautiful! We're excited for you guys... but BOO for moving out of the ward! jk. Everyone does eventually. You will be missed! I think your Tai Pan choice is excellent. My cousin had La-z-boy come out to their house and they did amazing things. Seriously. I was shocked because I thought they only did big rockers, but their decorating is so classy & apparently they have a lot of options. I fell in love with this couch from there and plan on having them come out to my house one day & have their decorator lay everything out for me. Might wanna check it out for furniture & free decorating advice. So fun!! You should definitely call dibs on a room for your gorgeous crafts!

have you been to rod works, or maybe its called iron works... anyway. they have a few in utah, but it has some super fun things.
